Should Pac lose should it affect his P4P ranking?

as if there was a mistake in PAC-JMM 2 ... PAC beat JMM fair and square in a close contest... what we need is for these two fighters meet for a third time in a grander scale... All I'm saying is A LOT of the Press and a lot of boxing fans in general thought JMM won the fight. If not they say it could have gone either way..... Meaning it should have been a draw. Shit our own Rick Reno said JMM won.

Manny IMO being pound 4 pound ranked has to do with moving in weight class and defeating top fighters. Manny took the fight and should have to reap the concequences should he lose. Calzaghe should never have th #1 he hasnt defeated any great fighters in their prime.

I agree, he agreed to the fight and if he loses I think he should slip 1 or 2 places. If that happens, queer folks got something extra to cheer about on gay pride parade because one of their kind will be boxing's #1 P4P. :D

Good point but if he loses be Decision there should be no reason to take him from no.1 as his giving away so much to DLH he needs to beat Marquez again to really prove his status Nah, Marquez would be 36 if the two fought against next year. If Pacman beat Marquez again (which is very likely, with Marquez kissing the canvas again) that win would be viewed by many as Pacquiao giving a beatdown on another past-his-prime Mexican warrior does nothing to Manny status wise.

This would depend on how Pacman performs. If the fight turns out to be very competitive, losing wouldn't matter specially if he loses only via decision. If on the otherhand Oscar pummels Pacquaio from pillar to post and makes Pacquaio look worse than Steve Forbes, I think Pacman's status as P4P best should be reviewed. i dont see the problem with him making money. he uses alot of it to help the people of his country. more so than alot of boxers do. money may donates alot as well, thats great to see that kind of stuff. i dont know if oscar does, but i know i never hear about it. many actually has made it possible for many children to get an education there. he has literally gave people the opportunity to have a successful life. you cant ****ing dog pac for making money, dont even start that shit.

No He should be looking to get Hatton but to be the P4P king he should be fight Juan Manuel Marquez i know he wouldn't want to but big money might bring them together might even get 2 fights to decide who is better.

JMM should be no less than 2 IMO, and it makes me think..... what if the rematch of JMM and PAC would have been correct and given to Marquez, would he be #1 right now? Funny, I thought the rematch, though close, was given to the right fighter. It was certainly no robbery as you seem to be alluding to.

Pac chose this fight, I think he should drop a bit lower if he loses. If your telling me you can be greedy in this sport without risking your p4p status, then thats lame... Maybe Pacquiao should fight a heavyweight next then if his p4p status isn't at risk for a huge paycheck. JC risked so much to be #3,,,,,
