i think he got lucky with krasniqi
krasniqi was beating him to the punch prior to the KO
and dimitrenko has a poor defense
his first loss will come sooner than later
i was very unimpressed
i agree, i pictured that scenario as well but wlad is smart, and so is his team.
against ibragimov, they were worried of wlad being countered so his right hand was very economical, i think they'd carry out the same plan against haye...
basically wlad would be very careful, however when wlad's opponent starts throwing wild bombs and misses, (i can picture haye doing this) wlad makes them pay with some bombs of his own..
i remember one instance where ibragimov was frustrated and he started swinging like an amateur, wlad made him pay at the end of the round with some good clean counters
That could happen but I don't think Wlad wants a repeat of that performance, he received a lot of criticism for that fight, I don't think he wants that kind of criticism again.
It was his first fight as a full blown heavyweight so I'd wait a few fights before saying he doesn't react well to being jabbed but yeah, I didn't like what I saw against Barrett when Barrett was actually throwing a jab with conviction, I didn't like the way he got outmuscled in the clinches either but these things can be corrected when he gets used to the weight so we should weight a little before saying he wouldn't be able to deal with Wlad's jab.
And sooner or later Wlad will let go with his right hand and when he does, he leans in too far, a guy like Haye who likes to get underneath his opponents punches then come back over the top with his shots could get to him.
We'll see.

i think barret was an indicator of that
did you see how many times barret's jab connected?
now put klitschko in the same ring and he wins the fight with his left hand only, similar to the ray austin fight, wlad doesn't even need his right hand against haye

I know, but it'd still be a good indicator of how Haye would do against the Klitschkos.

they might fight the same but everything wlad does, he does it better, faster and stronger than dimitrenko

And it'd give a pretty good indication of how he'd deal with the size and strength of the big guys, especially the Klitschkos, Dimitrenko kind of fights like Wlad, I think he's trained by the same trainer that Wlad used to have so it's a good test for him.

Damn, i wish Haye would go for that fight! It would answer a lot of his critics if he won.

Dimitrenko is alright, hard to envision him beating any of the top guys though, he'd be a good test for Haye IMO.

I like Dimitrenko, he has good fundamentals and is a lot better then most Heavyweight prospects out there.
People bang about Arreola on here, but Dimitrenko would smash his head in.

I haven’t seen enough of him to give an in depth analysis, he seems ok to me throws some good combos, but he doesn’t look anything special.
