It wasnt a knockdown, it was a slip. I didnt see Haye hurt at all.
I dont know how to pick this fight, Im not especially impressed with either of these two, Arreola looks good against bloated quasi-nobodies while Haye had one fight at HW against an aging gatekeeper. To me, it all depends on how well Cris handles Haye's power.
I know it wasn't, but WLAD OWNS will do anything to stick the knife in on Haye at any given opportunity.
This is a fight I would love to see. I would give Haye the slight edge from the fact that he will come into the ring better conditioned than Arreola. Have this fight in the UK/US in March and then the winner against Wlad in July/August.
Haye has the advantage in speed and skill, not sure about power Arreola is yet to KO a top heavyweight as is Haye, I would think that Arreola has the advantage in the chin department but again he has never been hit by a top heavyweight and was hurt by Walker. Strength you would have to go with Arreola and conditioning is an advantage for Haye. It would really depend on how well Arreola would take Haye's shots he will be open to Haye's right hand all night long. If he can take them he will likely win but if he cant he would get KO'd. it would be a good fight but I am going for the speed of Haye. I would much rather see a fast conditioned fighter like Haye win than some fat guy.
Haye can't even take a punch from a super middleweight bum
Super middleweight Lolenga Mock got robbed of a 2nd round TKO win over Haye. Haye was knocked down, badly hurt, wobbling everywhere and holding on for dear life. Any other ref would've stopped it, but the fight was in the UK and the corrupt British ref let the fight continue.
Here's the vid:

man that was terrible refing, the argument can be made for the stoppage in the 2nd, but i understand why they let it go. but the stoppage in the 4th was total bullshit haye was way more hurt in the 2nd then that dude was in the 4th.
Arreola gets up off the canvas once or twice to win by early to mid-rounds, brutal KO in a hugely entertaining fight!!
This is a fight that should be made. Maybe we could get a good trilogy out of it. Both are a blast to watch. The winner would probably enjoy a huge boost to their hype train that would propel them most or even all of the way to their extremely lucrative doom at the hands of one of the Klitschkos.
Let's get it on!!
i'd put my money on haye, but i could easily see it going either way. i would want arreola to win by taking off bad ali g impression haye's head off though.
I think Haye would win by early KO. It would be exciting to see nonetheless...
I think what it comes down to is conditioning... I have yet to see Arreola in championship level shape.
Haye would get stopped in this fight. He's only fought a half hearted Monte Barrett. Once Arreola times him and lands his first clean shot, it's over.
It's not hard to find Haye's glass chin...His left hand is too low and he leaves himself off balance and wide open to counter punches after he throws his combinations. Washed up shot light hitting Barrett hurt and knocked down Haye.
I missed that.
I have yet to see Haye be impressive at HW.
How is Haye, who was KOd by a cruiser, going to bang with a HW with KO power?
Well it isn't like Arreola has Calzaghe speed with his hands.
He(Haye) is one of the quickest heavys right now in my opinion and he has some good pop in his punches.
Yeah... if he gets caught, he will go down like most fighters but I don't think that Arreola could catch and land some flush shots on Haye.
I have yet to see Haye be impressive at HW.

Simple answer he's not. Haye is fast with good handspeed but Arreola would kill him.

To be fair, it could go either way. The skills, speed and technique are with Haye. But Arreola is determined, tough and powerful. So would depend how Areola takes Hayes shots.
The fat bloater who fought last night would get beat, It would be good to see the guy train for a fight and see how he shapes up against Haye.
I think it's fair to say that Barrett while not steller is better opposition than Walker.
Arreola gets dropped early and comes off the canvas to shatter Haye's glass chin.
Arreola by KO
I see it the same way. Last night he didn't really get dropped. He somewhat took a knee to assess what the hell was happening in there. He was almost getting overwhelmed with speed & power and Chris clearly came in out of shape. He took his time and "smarted" his way throught the situation. He's got a real clear thought process in the line of fire. He picked the right openings and completely turned the fight around. He's got big power, he looks like he don't hit hard and I wasn't completely sold on his power before, but one can clearly see the damage when he lands. Arreola KO over Haye.
lol.
Arreola doesnt have power over Haye. Maybe chin but Haye is a much bigger puncher.
I'm not sure about that. Arreola would have stopped Monte sooner.
