Any team with Jim Whatt providing a bit of sanity to proceedings is nice.
There is a man who can spot a hype job and isn't scared of saying "The guy hasn't beaten anyone yet, lets wait until he does before we start getting too excited"
He's possibly the only sane boxing commentator on SKY.
showtime has the worst announcement team... I know someone jokingly voted for them.
Ferdie Pacheco, used to be part of Ali's corner, didn't like him as a commentator either.
****in smug know-it-all old man. :lol1:

The worst showtime was during the 90's when it was Freddie whoever teaming with Steve Albert. He was an old looking guy. he was awful
I'm a Showtime guy. They don't get overly dramatic and let the fight speak for itself.
and they don't really swing from any fighters sack.
I agree 100 percent
I picked Lampley, Merchant and Stewart only because you failed to put Lampley, Merchant and Big George Foreman on the ballot! Where the love for Big George?
For me the dream team are the aforementioned Lamps, Merchant and Foreman with the incomparable Ray Torres as Spanish language translator.
In general ,even though they make me throw my shot glass at the TV from time to time, all of the above are fun.
@ thread starter you couldnt even list the "black guy"'s name?
anyways bob papa, kellerman, and lewis
cant stand lampley, merchant, and steward - -all 3 of those farts are biased and have no clue as to what they are talking about
Lamps, Larry, and Steward currently. They were better with Roy. Max ain't bad and I think he works well with Lampley, more so then Papa.
Also whoever does the commentary with Jim Watt. Those guys are tight. Jim Watt is pretty awesome. I'd take him over Harold and I tend to agree more with his card.
