Intentional headbutt? yes or no?(GIF)

actually it was not intentional because Joe is trying to move his head sideway and that is where he could have got cut as well. So unintentional is my verdict. Sorry.

I like Calzage but it looks intentional but if while Calzahe is coming in like that and turns his head side ways, he will be the one who suffers from a cut and not Jones. So, being a Master South Paw that Calzaghe is, it was either him or Jones and I guess he went with Jones. Calzaghe is no saint but he is not the dirtiest fighter in the business although poor Joe has been in the ring with some real dirty fighters and I guess he learned a trick or two himself. I say intentional with preservation and not intentional to commit damage.

I agree it is not intentional. Joes head is straight up much like Roy's. When a fighter comes in to intentionally head butt he usually is facing the canvas with his head down so the top of his head hits the brow or the forehaed chin face of the other guy. It is know that the top of the head is much harder then the brow or forehead....Lefty

Roy was either hooking or trying to hold, you can see that it was Roys right hand pulling Calz in. Thats what brought Calz towards him. his hand wasnt pulling him in but def not intentional

Hell no it wasn't, if you weren't blind and looked at the gif image both of them clash heads around the eye area for both of them. Why would Calzaghe risk getting his own eye cut open? This whole topic makes no sense.

looking at that id say it was intentional at that point i think roy had a cut so id expect calzaghe to butt him if he felt he could get away with it
