favorite boxing moment one of my favorite boxing moments is when sugar ray leonard beat what was then the most feard welterweight thomas the hit man hearns who was undefeated at the time so the boxer had to become the puncher as the puncher became the boxer and hearns was ahead entering the 14th round so sugar ray pulled off one of the biggest wins of his life as he defeats thomas hearns by 14th rd tko in a very entertaining fight.:boxing::boxing::boxing:

Oscar sparking vargas out, damn that was sweet!!!!! when I was a kid, I was the only one in a packed London household rooting for Eubank against Benn and when eubank escaped with a draw in the second fight I couldn't stop laughing as everbody else was convinced benn had won it!!! good times!

Ok I'll be honest and remember im 24 NOW so i was young when it happened but to my shame i remember it fondly - When Iron Mike Chompped on Holyfields ear!!! :chomp: Man my young ass was goin nuts back then!!!

2 and a half years ago when I was only a casual fan of the sport. I switched over to ITV at around 3am to see Joe Calzaghe v Jeff Lacey live. This fight made me sit up and realise what I was missing. Ever since I can't get enough of the sport. I have a subscription to Boxing News and I stay up every weekend without fail to 6 am to watch whatever fight is on. Favourite momnets since: Pavlik KOing Taylor Margarito KOing Cotto Joe Calzaghe Unifying the SM divison Corrales v Castillo rnd 10 Kermit Cintron's KO of W. Maythesse I could go on

watching RJJ tee off on that guy(Bryant Brannon???), and watching him KO Griffin rank up there. But my all time favorite for some reason was watching Darrell "doin damage" Wilson KO Shannon Briggs on the night of the young HW's back in march of 1996..ah good times..I got arrested later that night and watching that got me all rowdy :)

Another was when Ricardo El Matador Mayorga (How inaprpriate can a nickname be!?) Let Vernon the viper Forrest Tee off on him! That image will stay with me, Mayorga is nuts!
