Floyd is the only way boxing would ever have a chance on Network TV

This is why Floyd is what Boxing Needs right Now....because he brings Conversation, History, and a whole lot of Drama... SOMEBODY tell me, he wouldnt bring a audience to network TV talking like this...and then backing it up with the Status he has...and a fight with a well known name..

I'm not gonna name names or anything. But there's a kid in NY right now that's gonna explode. IMO, bigger than any prospect out there. But he's not even pro yet.

Main stream fans who ordered "the world awaits" were very dissapointed least the ones I know....that fight did not ad any fans to the sport. not to mention the fans that got up and left during the championship rounds in his fight w/Baldo.. Floyd although being very highly skilled..isnt always highly entertaining.

please...... floyd ain't the savior of shit. we need to look for someone young and exciting from america to excite the masses. sadly with how our olympic boxing is doing......as well as how network coverage of olympic boxing is nowadays......that's not gonna happen.

I dont see how, given Floyd only fights 1-2x per year. On top of that, he retires after every fight.

What you need is a young/fresh fighter that has "ATG/phenom" ability written all over him; HW preferred. He has to have that "It" factor. Have him fight at least once a month on network TV and have him travel around the World fighting. Cover all his fights from his first pro fight on. It's a dream...but maybe that dream will come true :)

Telefutura is a network and a big one and they've had free fights for years. Sadly, it's all going away now. im talking nbc, cbs, abc...

Only problem is that after watching him fight they wont ever give boxing on network tv again.
