Hatton beat malagnaggi but what is malgnaggi best known for? going a full fight with Miguel Cotto thats it. Hatton knew Malgnaggi was no real threat and had no power what so ever with only 9 knockouts. He ducks legit 140 pounders who can like Torres, Holt, Hopkins, and he's going to duck Judah when he moves back to 140.
Cant see that Hatton is ducking anyone at 140 whe ODLH would be a far tougher fight than all of them.
Think before posting.
That's because Hatton would lose to Oscar, and badly at that. It would be a lot worse than the Mayweather fight, that fight should be billed as ''De La Hoya vs Gatti 2''. Oscar is too big and too strong.
I agree, like you said bradley has everything mayweather has but punches harder which means he's the new p4p1 and an atg.

Where did i say Bradley does everything Mayweather does? I said that Hatton would run into the same problems that he ran into with Mayweather because he would be in with ANOTHER skilled boxer that has good foot movement and punches harder than Floyd. Lazcano even rocked Hatton and he was never known for being any kind of puncher. Once Ricky fights another boxer with power, those same flaws will show again. Lets not let the Malinaggi win get to our heads.
Bradley has showed to be a skilled boxer but he has not shown how he deals with constant pressure and rough house tactics.
And by the way totally disagree with the bolded part.
Mayweather at 147 hits harder than Bradley at 140 no doubt.
Lets not let the Hatton stoppage fool us, Mayweather lost his snap when he moved up to the higher and weight divisions. If he could punch then he would have had something to back off Oscar with, or at least hurt Judah and he did neither of those things. Bradley is very heavy handed and can punch even when going backward, he can punch. Just look at his knock down against Cherry and his Witter, who had not been that seriously hurt at anytime in his career. All he needs to do now is learn how to be a proper finisher.
its a shame whats happening to boxing and i hate it nothing agains hatton its not hes fall but if he fights de la hoya or pacquiao he does'nt deserves it theres more boxers better than him theres margarito for the de la hoya or cotto cottley for manny theres juan manuel marquez, humberto soto, edwing valero but again its not fattons fall its the promoters who only think about making millions.
I'd rather fight Bradley than DLH or Pacman anyday.
What's everyone moaning about Hatton ducking?? he's going after the bigger fighters FFS!

Stop smoking the pot.
All Bradley has done is beat a half assed overated Witter and Witter didn't even want to fight....that's it, and even then he was all out to beat him.
What does that mean? In Bradley Ricky would run into the same types of problems that he ran into against Mayweather. A strong boxer that is skilled enough to out box him and is strong enough to not be overwhelmed by his rough house tactics. Ricky would run into even more problems with Bradley simply because he punches harder than Mayweather.

more like 5 ko's only...
And he doesn't want to fight those guys because he doesn't need too nor do people care for those names in the mainstream....
A judah fight might happen though... But If judah doesn't bring his A game he could lose that signalling an early retirement...
Judah will fight holt... KO him.. I would like to see judah torress... and then judah hatton..
Would be a great career builder for judah... and once he is good.. maybe move back up for a rematch with Cotto...
one last big pay day.. And Prally end it there.. Unless he wins..
then maybe fight shane or someone else then end it there.. unless he wins..
then fight marg.. end it there.. unless a miracle..
then fight paul williams.. call it a night... Unless he gets it..
then Oscar... But oscar will be old so Get mayweather back...
He beats the undefeated mayweather take on Froch .. Cold day in hell then fight Taylor...
Heavens on Fire take it to Pavlik...
Hell isn't lewis coming back?

There is doubt about the fact that Ricky Hatton has constantly ducked Junior Witter.
And I don't care about what anyone says Witter is the No.1 Junior-Welterweight in the world in my opinion. Witter KO's Hatton (and he knows it).
I actually think that avoiding fighting Torres, Bradley or Holt is a smart idea for Ricky. He wants to retire with a lot of money and jump straight on the big money fights because even if he lost those fights, he would still have cash to show for it. I would actually favor Bradley to beat Ricky, and would give Torres and Holt good shots at beating him them on their best days. People forget that these guys actually have power.

This is nonsense trollery as usual. If Hatton had just demolished Bradley you'd be on here suggesting he was ducking Malignaggi. If he had just simultaneously knocked out Malignaggi, Witter, Bradley, Torres and Holt you'd be on here saying he was ducking Marcus Maidana.
Hatton ducking fighters at Light Welterweight is the biggest laugh i've had for ages. He's just embarrassed the guy ranked number 2 in the division!!?
Why would Hatton want to stay at 140 & fight nobodies with the possibility of getting beaten, when he now has massive fights one weight class up!?
Hatton is coming to the end of his career & naturally he's now only interested in the big big fights & getting out of the game with a shed load of money. Thats boxing i'm afraid. Hatton has paid his dues at 140, he has nothing else to prove at that weight - he's unbeaten there at 40+ fights.
Tim Bradley is the next best fighter at 140 but that fight will never happen. Firstly, Hatton could seriously end up cut to shreds with Bradley charging in with his head all night, secondly, nobody gives a shi* about Timothy Bradley. If Hatton beat him everyone would just say Tim Bradley was a nobody (same as what some people are now saying about Malignaggi). If Bradley goes on to destroy everyone else at Light Welterweight then maybe Hatton will fight him in 2 years time. Can't see it happening myself though.
If Hatton's got 2 years left he'll have 3 or 4 massive fights in that time in my opinion. 1 at Wembley stadium (100k people), 1 at City of Manchester (50k people) & possibly 2 in Las Vegas again.
Those with memories longer than five minutes will recall that when the fight was announced Malignaggi was supposed to 'the man' at 140. Nobody was bullshitting about how Hatton should be fighting Bradley or any of those guys then. As has been said there just aren't any credible opponents at 140 for Ricky at this stage of his career. Bradley, Holt etc may or may not be in the same class of boxers as Hatton, but they are pygmies in terms of marketability. Bradley in front of maybe 12,000 in Vegas or DLH or the Pacman in front of 100,000 at Wembley with proportionate TV receipts - which would you fr*gging choose coming up to retirement?!
Good post, can you imagine if Hatton would have beat Bradley instead of Malignaggi. Then talked about fighting the Oscar v Pac fight next.
These boards would be swamped with posts about Hatton ducking the number 1 140lb fighter out there.

WTF, you actually think Hatton is ducking these guys. Wow, I'd easily favor Hatton over any of these guys.
I think any fighter with a little bit of power can stop Hatton. He was eating a few left hooks from Paulie, and I know he was not hurt. But could you imagine the same Hatton open for a left hook by Judah? Night over. I dont even know why they are considering a DLH vs. Hatton fight, that would be over even quicker. I'm not a Hatton hater but the guy has a mediocre chin lately and gets hit a lot still. Hatton did so well against Paulie because he knew he couldnt get hurt, thats why he was charging in like that and stopping Paulie's game plan.
