I always knew Paulie sucked, it didn't take Hatton and Cotto to prove that to me. He talks massive amounts of shit and never backs any of it up. Ditto I mean cmon nobody really htinks a guy with 5 stoppages is a huge threat

i said it before the fight over and over again..paulie is terribleI don't think he's terrible, i just think he is perfect for Hatton, all this great movement bollocks that people where talking about prefight was a red herring, Hatton has never struggled against sharp boxers. His footwork has always been excellent, and he closes down dancers very well.

Malignaggi's brittle hands (and consequent/coexisting lack of power) have always proven his undoing as a fighter. An unfortunate malady for any boxer, as it undermines his effectiveness even as an outfighter.

It says a lot about a guy when you look at his record and his 2 most noteable fights were both losses. This isn't an anti-Hatton thing, I just never liked Paulie. I was glad to see Ricky dominate him. 140lbs is a weak division though, as it stands. Bradley and Hatton are about the best in the division right now. Hopefully Judah will make an impact and keep me watching. i do not agree that its a weak division ... hatton ,bradley ,torres ,judah ,holt witter ,urango ngoudjo,ortizlamont peterson,lazcano,rees,EMANULE AUGUSTUS!! Judah is one of those guys that will always be a name because people still get excited when Buffer says "former 2 time undisputed jr. welterweight champion of the world" and that single line will make Judah look legit even if he has 1000 losses. All he needs is a win and he's back on big events even if he doesn't head them anymore. yeah but boxing fans should know better

And Ricky is entitled to money fights too. I mean everyone else is doing it why should Ricky try to save boxing by himself? Only new tight rules can save boxing, not Ricky, not Hoya... Like the economy, boxing can't self regulate. People in charge will get this when the money is gone.

He still beat Nduo, Cherry and Ngoudjo. Sure he isn't an elite but he is still a good, decent name at the top of the J. welter rankings. I haven't seen the Hatton v. Malignaggi fight yet.. I was at work when the fight happened but I'm downloading it right now. My guess is gonna be it was a one handed Paulie in there which is why it was so one sided. Props to Hatton for the win.
