Vera's ass is being whooped!

This fight was similar to Angulos last fight,a total beatdown Thats a good comparison. The body shots completely emptied Vera's tank, it was a good stoppage. It didn't look like Vera was ever going to hurt Kirkland. I don't think Kirkland could beat most of the top 154 lbrs, but it sure is going to be fun watching him.

the ref probably added about 8yrs to Vera's life by stopping it

Were you watching the fight?? Kirkland lost wind round 4 - 6 with Vera's hands down and body squar... and didn't have the juice to finish him off when he had the chance. THat's what he sucks. Kirkland showed very good things. That combo which sent Vera to the canvas the final time is something only a select few are able to do. With that said he's still just a prospect and has many things to work on. His stamina is OK for a 24 year old, considering the weight class and the energy he spent in trying to get Vera out of there in 3 rounds. His defense however needs much work. Too easily hit with right hands...

I wonder now that Kirkland is being promoted by Goldern Boy will they find him a real coach and conditioning trainer?

Thank F*ck thats over it was begining to make me feel sick! I Really like Kirkland and he makes for great fights but he just dont have the goods to go all the way. Dont really matter tho does it as long as he in good fights

i think kirkland a good fighter...but he tires easily....it took him 3 rounds to get back to pounding vera...and 8 to finish off an already finish fighter
