after booing your national anthem at the Mayweather fight, taking over Vegas everytime Ricky fights there, drinking all your beer and shagging all your women....do all Americans hate Hattons Army of fans...or are you actually quite jealous as none of your fighters can attract a tenth of his support?..............opinions please!!!
like i said, aside your tendencies to boo anthems, i love the energy and intensity that hatton fans bring..
i'm all for getting whipped up in a frenzy but for some of us americans, some things arent needed to be disrespected...such as our anthem...
if ricky hatton was iraqi or afghany, then i would understand the booing...but for brit fans to do it just to 'motivate' themselves,i guess we have differing opinions in the matter....i know some americans who would forget about a sport and go into brawl mode if the anthem or flag is disrespected
didn't see any of them when it came to the crunch last time??....they were very quite!!! ha ha
that might not mean anything to you playa and that's fine...the anthem and flag allows you that freedom to think, feel, and say whatever you want...but to some, it does serve as a valuable symbol...and their opinions should be respected as much as yours
its not necessary to show that kind of disrespect...not for a boxing match...
u think thats bad mate....u wanna try coming to an England football game???? the only reason our boys booed your anthem is because they do it to every countries anthem. it gives the game or fight more of a hostile atmosphere and that's what everyone wants!!!! it's good that most of u yank boys can appreciate the banter and passion us Brits have for our sportsmen.....uv got to luv it,man!!!!
A lot of Americans are Hatton fans themselves. But as a whole, I like 'em. I'd love to experience fight night in that type of atmosphere.
Booing the anthem showed a lack of class. But what do you expect from a bunch of drunks?
I think on the whole we like them. I mean there was some bad blood from the stupid nationalistic American crowd when the national anthem was boo'd, but it blew over. Overall when the Hattonites come over it is a fun diversion. It is like going back to high school for a weekend. A bunch of drunken idiots run the place and you have fun with them for a while. I think it is better than high school though. The drunks go away eventually.
the general american public don't care for boxing, but the u.s. boxing fans probably don't care because ricky's fans provide an awesome fight enviornment.
Nah, because when they get drunk and disoriented, I take their wallets at the casino.
Sometimes I will be nice and take the notes out of the wallet and slip the wallet back in their pocket.
They just figure they spent too much on booze.
Then I go to the currency exchange because some of them have these funny currency in them.
But they carry a lot of cash on them, and that's good for me.
if someone tryed to pinch my wallet, especially when I was drunk, i'd murder them.
I love Hatton fans.. There really into the sport and their fighter
However, I HATE the calzaghe fans on this board.
They are delusional if they think hes an ATG.. His resume says it all..
To be the best you challenge the best..
Hatton fans are kool ppls, I think Hatton will win a UD tonight, in an ugly fight, but I will be rooting for Paulie
I think part of it may be jealousy but most of it is because of the disrespect that has been coming this way. We as americans are generally used to dominating the sport, though that is not the case today. So we are used to having champions. Over there im sure you guys are really excited, and you should be, you guys finally have a few champions.

You don't f.uck them do you?
No, I like Hatton a little bit, if he fights Oscar/Floyd and somehow wins then I'm sure USA will embrace him more.
At the mo Joe Calzaghe is accepted by us the most from your shores, his record is impressive and he looks like one of few fighters you brits can send over that can actually beat our lot in his weight. The others would get owned as usual.
