Most feared man in boxing? MY ASS. He complains how big names turn him down - how he gets turned down, well he had a fight where he would still got paid well and had the potiental to make a Cotto rematch bigger. That would have equaled more money in the future.
He also does a very class-less act in not contacting anybody about his side until the deadline hits. I have no respect for this guy. Be a man and defend your position, not like a sore-crybaby.
If he wants respect, fight Williams - which we already know hes ducking.
this definitely brings down margs stock . . . its a shame. even if the money wasnt right he should have taken the fight just to maintain his rep. the only way this can be looked as a good thing with his rep intacked is if he takes the pw rematch.
agreed.
but i doubt he'll take a PW rematch.
he looks bad with how he handled the contract not contacting anybody, and who does he think is better option now? nobody.

fight who? minus Cotto, who brings more than 2mil and a big name to the table to hype a possible rematch?
well i guess that's a good point. i didnt really think of that... i guess he would need another fight before the rematch.... i don't get why he'd duck mosley then. i think he would destroy him if they were to fight.
I wouldn't say that he's ducking mosley. i think he'd kill mosley. it's all about the money. why fight the guy that was beaten by the guy you just beat? especially since mosley is getting older and older, and he didn't look great against a shot mayorga. i give him props for not taking the mosley fihgt. it would be a relatively easy fight for him in my opinion. mosley would look good on his resume, even though it would be a 37 year old shane mosley. i'd rather see him fight someone else.
but then why talk all that shit about Mosley on how he is gonna knock him out??
makes no sense..

its like what Hopkins said, "if you keep winning, they HAVE to listen"
hes making it seem like Mosleys a no-name and was offered 1mi .
hes offered 2mil, plus get himself out there more with a big name. would been a good step to bigger paydays.
just because you beat a highly regarded fighter after being someone who is considered a no-draw person - you dont get big money YET. but he does this being a classless person avoiding contact.
**** it though man.. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise?
DiBella and GBP are in talks of a Mosley v. Berto fight because of this!

I made a thread on here once about how Cotto is the only boxer who have the right to duck but never seem to duck anybody....And the more i look at cotto the more i respect him, am a little disappointed in Margarito but he is his own man.
this situation has raised cotto's stocks... and hes not even fighting :boxing:
boxing is an interesting sport!
