I say he should fight some contenders before tackling the Klits. I say this, not because I don't want Haye to get a shot, but because I think he has a bright future at HW and want him to prepare properly for his shot when he gets it. Monte isn't enough experience at HW to try and tackle the dangerous klitschko brothers, especially Vitali.
I propose Calvin Brock, Chazz Witherspoon, Tony Thompson, or some other capable contenders that can season Haye at this weight class without being too much of a threat. I don't want to see him fight Toney, cause I like what Haye brings to the table as a young rising star in the division, and I would hate to root against him...
Arreola, though raw, may have the formula to rock Haye, so he should stay clear of him at this point IMO. I guess you could say my vote for Haye's next opponent comes as a Haye Fan wanting to see him succeed. Tell us who you want him to face next and why. Perhaps you might want him to fight the Klits next as someone who wants to see Haye get rocked, for example, or perhaps you want to see him fight the Klits because you are a fan and think he may win...

Haye will probably try for JD Chapman again, if that doesen't work he might fight Sinan Samil Sam (lowest ranked WBC fighter)
Even though Dimitrenko is ahead of him and it would be a great fight David Haye doesen't want to fight anyone that can beat him. As I said it the other thread, Haye won't even whisper Dimitrenko's name. Haye only wants someone who needs a payday that will be willing to fight in Haye's backyard under all of Haye's terms..... hmmm maybe a superfight with Oleg Maskaev?
Other possible opponents: Ray Austin or Kali Meehan.
Dimitreno isn't excatly fighting world beaters, besides hes closed in on a mandatory position after Povetkin loses. Hes in the same boat as Haye, both won't be looking at risky fights within the immediate future.

I think the perfect fight for Haye.. would be Povetkin.. Both are not quite ready for the BIG time.. and both have a lot of promise..
Im thinkin maybe a tall fighter with a decent punch to use as a measuring stick with the Klits.
Alexander Dimitrenko would be perfect, but why would he take the chance? He is way up in the ratings from stayin active in low risk fights in Germany, he will get a shot soon enough without Haye.
Personally i dont see him being good enough for either Klits, but his best shot is to have a few fights at the weight and let him settle into it more.
Maybe McCline or Brock, then Ibragimov (not so much to prepare for Klits style, more to see if he really deserves his shot)
If he really beleives he can be THE best and aint just lookin to cash in on his Hype (And i beleive him btw) then Dimitrenko who to be fair i havent seen fight sounds from what i can hear like a Big Poor mans Klitchko so he would be a good measure and tune up.
Also id like to see Haye fight Wlad its a more Enticing fight and i like Hayes chances WAY better than against Vitali
What a horrible selection to choose from. Cal Brock? That guy's about as relevant as Evander Holyfield. I'd like to see Haye fight Dimitrenko or the winner of the Walker-Arreola fight next week. If he wants to impress the boxing world, he'll fight Dimitrenko; if he wins, then he'll silence the critics (and there are alot) and be the most credible contender to the Klitschkos...
I hope that Haye fights Dimitrenko, I would make a fortune in e-points. There is no way he'll do it unless one of the ABCs orders it as an eliminator. Dimitrenko is ranked in top 3 on all of them, it might actually come down to that.

Shannon Briggs
i say jameel mccline. if he wants to fight wlad or vitali, he should start getting used to tall dudes that can hit.
i dig these choices, too!
I say Calvin Brock, then Wlad. If he beats Calvin Brock and looks good at doing it, then he is ready to step up to the big leagues.
That or eddie chambers.
Brock is back to bankin, a win over him don't mean shit. He needs Johnson, Brewster or maybe even Witherspoon. Brock should stay in a charlotte bank and do whatever the hell they do.

I'd like to see him fight Arreola, to get rid of another prospective contender, so we don't waste our time with a heavyweight championship fight against an unworthy contender.
If he wants to prepare himself for fighting an opponent with a reach advantage and a very good jab, he should fight Tony Thompson.
If he wants to face a taller opponent with a bit of a name that he will probably KO, he should face Michael Grant.
I was just thinking about Michael Grant today. Its funny that he has fought a couple times recently and not so much as a whisper yet whenever that fat slob David Tua farts there is a thread about it.
Haye isnt going to fight Thompson, Dimitrenko I would bet the house on that.
He isn't trying to prepare for the Klitschko's so much as trying not to **** up the big payday he is guaranteed is he wins a couple mismatches diguised as competitive fights.
I would like to see him fight Dimitrenko because it would give us an idea of how Haye would do against the Klitschkos, Dimitrenko has similar physical assets as the Klitschkos and stylistically, he fights similarly to them, moreso Wlad than Vitali though.

Kevin Kingpin Johnson dog. Get into talks with that guy again, he wants to get it on with Haye and he's showin some promise righ now. Not Brock and all the others it's not likely.
