yeah, stoppage was ridiculous. the african looked pretty handy as well, shame for him but he didnt seem to complain too much, i'd have gone mad
It was weird his legs stiffened and that was enough.......damn.
Our refs really are more liable to premature stoppages than American refs.
It did look like the African dude was a puppet for a bit though. Comical.
Me too.
Me, you and Clegg should meet up, we could all turn up with Morrissey hair? How good would that be?!?
Lomax is shit IMO. I'd rather see Brook fight Graig Watson?
I'm up for that, my hair is a bit short at the minute, but I'll grow it a tad and get some hairspray involved.
I suppose it should be Lomax must be next for Brook.
That's not too bad. Probably in York Hall. I'll go to that.

Haven't seen Petrucci fight, is he any good?
As long as they keep him active and put him in there with progressively better opposition I'm happy.
Please Warren, don't fuck up another British boxer's career by having him fight nobodies for the next few years.
Watched him when he made short work of Graig Watson and is undefeated. Brook would beat him IMO but Petrucci would make a better fist of it then McIntyre.
Him being a Frank Warren fighter is a problem IMO. It might be a while before we see him getting a world Title shot but The WBO Usually keep a path clear for a fighter who is under Frank Warren's wing.
Saying that, am still waiting for Kevin Mitchell's world title shot.
Let's see him fight Michael Lomax and Tony Doherty and win the Lonsdale belt outright, then he can clean up at European level. By the time he's done all that he should have had about 25 fights and a decent amount of exposure.

He should be pretty gung-ho with him. He doesn't appear to have much of a fan base?
That fight happened earlier.
SPOILER...
Burns won TKO 7 so he can't be as good as his record suggests.
Another bogus record then methinks. Burns really shouldn't be stopping you if your half decent.
Yeah, I rate Brook very highly. I wouldn't be surprised to see him reach the very top.
I want to see him fight 5/6 times in 2009.
I'd like to see him win the lonsdale belt by beating someone like Tony Doherty, then let's see him in there with someone like Alfonso Gomez or Jose Luis Castillo.
I think fight JLC is good because Brook has not gone 12 rounds before, and it'll be a fight that is very winnable, but that he would learn from because it's against a veteran.
I reckon a fight with Daniele Petrucci(European champion) would be the fight that makes the most sense at the minute. Failing that, Craig Watson wouldn't be a bad choice either.
How come? Does Burns have a dodgy chin?
nah he's never been stopped they said, but I remember a guy who had a similar KO record who fought Dean Francis recently and it was like they picked him off they streets. lol
He didn't look bad in that first though.
He does look like Naseem when he's in that ring. It's uncanny.
He isn't active enough though, we probably won't see him again for another 6 months.
He does look like a world class prospect IMO.
yeah it's all about how active he is.
He must be a little bit of a twat outside the ring to be fair, though he comes across very well in interviews imo.
I think so, I don't see what's so great about Appleby either.
I'm a buzzing as you are about brook! but appleby is a very good fighter. Throws a lot of classy punches from different angles and looks to have a good chin, i'm quite optimistic about appleby.
