What's all this Dawson talk? Did you not see the Johnson fight?

Glen Johnson won that fight and that was one of the biggest robberies I've seen... He doesn't deserve to be in the ring with Calzaghe. Since Pavlik was schooled by Hopkins Americans are now keeping faith in the future of American boxing through Dawson.

Silencers I usually agree with your opinions, I don't know I must be looking at a different fighter or something, I think Kessler Calz and maybe Hopkins beat Dawson. Styles make fights, I'm a big believer of that, Dawson's style can give Calzaghe trouble IMO.

Name one top fighter who hasn't got a gift decision at some point of there career? Their can't be many? Dawson is still green but is improving all the time and his resume is impressive for this stage of his career. He has some good notable wins after 28 outings: Tomasz Adamek. Antonio Tarver. Glen Johnson. Former WBC light heavyweight champion. Current IBO and IBF light heavyweight champion. I think Dawson has improved since that fight and I thought he won the fight anyway. Stylistically, he can give Calzaghe troubles as well IMO. I personally dont like how people instantly throw a new challenger right in front of the winner of a bout, I do think dawson would be a test for Joe but not at the moment, Dawson is a southpaw like joe and glen johnson is a tough fighter to beat IMO.......Only Hopkins has beaten him without any controversy....Even Tarver refuse to fight johnson after getting his revenge in a rematch with him.
