I'm still unsure about this fight, I even tried laying out each hypothetical scenario for this fight and I still couldn't pick a winner.
If Joe wins I'll be happy because I have always admired his skill. (not too keen on him outside of the ring)
If Roy wins I'll equally be as happy because it's a momentous achievement for him. (He's as entertaining outside the ring as he is/was in it)
Maybe if I put a bet on one of them it will make the fight more interesting for me.
good post mick, green k 4 u my brother.

On paper, Calzaghe should win, but I can't count Roy out... that said, he will need the best performance a 39 y/o RJJ can muster in order to pull it out. And this sport is full of surprises.
roy will literally be smiling at joe if he does that
LMAO! At the end of that flurry, Joe catches the ref with a clean right hand and the ref doesn't even know he got hit!
yeah I'm torn. Calzaghe's energy and workrate should be enough but Roy's still a class act and even though the speed and reflxes aren't as good he could still read Joe and counter punch his way to a SD.

never seen that before, thats really pathetic. Lost some respect for joe on that one.
I have no idea who I am going to pick. That is only because of the doubts I have about Roy's current fighting ability level. TBH the Roy that fought Trinidad would lose this fight in a landslide. But if Roy could partially turn back the clock enough he could beat Calzaghe. You never know until the fight if a fighter can turn back that clock for great performance.
F^ck it win or lose I am going with Roy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Said Calzaghe since the very first day this fight was announced.
Not have I once even drempt/thought about Jones winning.
what's he supposed to say? i had a dream i lost?
pulling for jones because he's one of my favorite fighters of all time, and this would be a huge win for him. but if it came down to it and someone held a gun to my head and said, "pick a winner," i'd have to go with calzaghe.
i don't think we'll ever see vintage roy jones jr. again. but can he be vintage enough? that's the question, my friends.

LMAOOOO
I was envisioning the same thing.
Roy would be catching his silly ass with sick ass counters.
(sorry if you're a Calz fan Melly, I can't help it)
