DARCHINYAN -vs- MONTIEL __ Super Duper Unification!!!

I think Vic would definitely be the favorite, but don't write-off Montiel based off of last weekend's fight. If you've followed his career, you'll notice that he tends to fight down to the level of his opponents. When he's got world-class opposition he (usually) steps it up. Montiel has some pop in his punches to and definitely has some great boxing ability...chin seems pretty solid too. Is it solid enough for Darchinyan's punches though????? The fight will be great for as long as it lasts though! :D your right, I was trying to compare it to Monty's chin, but you seem to explain that out...

well... VIC is already undisputed with 3 out of 4 belts... but that 4th belt and Ring belt would be reallll niec. yep.... that would be a very good hardware to add to his collection :boxing:

cool...we need more of this unifications once. darchinyan even if you dont like him, he is very good for boxing. we need more guys with his attitude on wanting to fight the best.

i too would favor VIC... probably somethin similar to the Mijares fight. I can see it playing out the same way...except for Montiel scoring a knockdown or two on Vic himself. Montiel has WAY more power than Mijares, and it's definitely enough to put Vic on his ass...having said that, I think Vic has the power to put Montiel on his ass for the 10-count though! Great fight though...needs to happen! :boxing:

Rooting for Darchinyan now, he proved everyone last week wrong when he showed that he can box and isn't just a brawler. The fight kind of reminded me of calzaghe/lacy, when most people*even a shit load of brits* had lacy pegged to win.

I got Vic by KO, the display Montiel put on last sunday was not good, and if he brings that in against V, the KO will happen.. Well... we all know and saw VIC Darchinyan (WBC, WBA, IBF) call out Fernando Montiel (WBO)... and now Montiel has responded back that he would indeed love to fight VIC... so who wins this TRUE Unification of ALL FOUR BELTS... man thats nice :boxing: gotta have a huge entourage just to help you carry your belts around :D I got Vic by KO, the display Montiel put on last sunday was not good, and if he brings that in against V, the KO will happen..
