How did it? He got caught with a right counter coming in, was off balance and it was hard and well placed enough to floor him. It was a flash knockdown and he wasn't hurt be it. If anything it proved he can take a punch just as well at LHW as he can at SMW. It's quite possible his punch resistance is better at the more natural comfortable LHW, than it is starving himself to SMW. he was hurt 2 or 3 times against Hopkins.....

he is in fact in a new heavier division.. where the guys are bigger and punch harder... his first fight at this new weight... proved that. How did it? Joe looked and Roy looked good. Therefore, its going to be a good fight on Saturday. They both are ready. And I am too... Damn right IMO this is a 50/50 fight,It's gonna come down to who wants it most.

this aint peter manfredo hes fighting Come on Reed. Like I said, he's always held his hands low at times especially when confident, it's just his style, like Roy's was, Hayes is, Froch's is. Hey ho. He's taken some hard shots on the chin from Mitchell, Kessler and good shots from Eubank, Hops and others. I know Roy's still powerful but it's not like he needs to suddenly after all those fights, start to cover his chin way more. If that's true for anyone I'm afraid it's Roy whom does cover up way more now. I don't see a KO though. Possibly a TKO at most late on.
