This probably makes some sense.
The question is whether he has something else already lined up... If not, that ring rust shaker might not be doing him any favors in securing a big fight.
I think he'd still want to go at least 8 or 9 rounds, just so he gets used to going those rounds again, maybe we can see a late stoppage but it's doubtful IMO.
And my mistake, I think it's a 10 round fight which increases the chances of it going to the scorecards.
Probably not, it'll take a few rounds for him to shake the rust off and then he'll probably just want to make it through 12 rounds so he gets accustomed to it again.

Munoz got KO'ed in 3 by Vanes Martirosyan at a catchweight of 156. A KO isn't impossible, but then again Munoz might have took that fight on short notice. So we'll see.

Last time he KO'd someone, it was an IBF 154 defense against Jason Papillion.
It was like 15 fights ago, and who the **** is Jason Papillion?
That says it all really, Have never seen munoz or whatever his name is but Wright need to make an impression and i dont mean a 12 round UD shutout...
Probably not, it'll take a few rounds for him to shake the rust off and then he'll probably just want to make it through 12 rounds so he gets accustomed to it again.
But Wright has never really KO'd anyone...
He made a huge statement against Trinidad and Mosley both times, without really hurting either of them, at all.
If he fights a flawless decision win against Munoz, then I think that is the statement he is going for.
Hell, he really might KO him though... this guy doesn't seem too good.
True Wink is not a monster puncher but he needs to come with something in his next one or two fights to REALLY grab some spotlight that's ever fading in his career. His rants as of late are backed up by NOTHING by way of putting himself back in contention for the paydays he reportedly still wants. I'm glad he's back fighting and at least giving himself a shot. You are right though, he needs to be flawless and grab some "flash" from somewhere because he has never been a very exciting draw given his style.
Winky needs to start REALLY showing he still has it in him to continue at an elite level. (Given his rants about people not wanting to fight him) This should be a tune-up for him and he should destroy the guy but I don't really see Winky KO'ing too many people anymore.
