time to put up or shut up
what annoys the fcuk outta me at press confrences is fighters that never stop saying come august the 25th blah blah blah
stop saying come this date come that date STFU
still the better than 'I'll let my fists to the talking' as has been mentioned.
'Oh he's going to let his fists to the talking, why are we even all f.uckin here if that's the case, you boring cunt'
I'd love to be the guy that said that and then ran for his life.

'He's a durable opponent'
What they mean is he can't punch, he has no skills, and is shit and has no chance whatsoever of winning even if they fought this same fight everyday for 2 billion years.
'he's getting through with the cleaner more effective work'
Jim Watt says it, rinse and repeat another 55 times in any 12 round fight. There is always one guy getting through with the cleaner more effective work. Never a close fight in his eyes.
i used to love Barry McGuigan's catch phrase" its gonna be absolute dynamite"

What is head scratching is when they claim a mistake that really wasn't that obvious. Like Macca against Haye, what mistake? to my mind he got nailed tremondously hard in the head after failing to have the reactions of a jedi. He's 6'4 and 200 pounds, he's not going to be that quick.
Why couldn't he just say 'I got f.uckin smashed, isn't it?'

"No excuses, but I did contract AIDs shortly before the fight." BUT im not making excuses he was the better man tonight

I like it when they say "No excuses, he was the better man"
Then a few days later make excuses :lol1:
See Hopkins-Tarver for example.
