Seriously, I always hear people talk about him like he's something special, I mean he had 19 losses FFS!
If he's so great, why did he lose 19 ****ing times!?
Prime Roy would TKO him, EASILY.
Honestly, I'm not the biggest Roy fan, but he does KO Robinson. Roy was a freakish athlete by modern standards. He would have been a god on earth in Robinson's day. Era for era (oh god, sorry I just coined that) Robinson was the far greater fighter, but if they were actually matched Roy would have every conceivable advantage. Robinson, all things considered, is indeed the greatest fighter ever. That, however, does not mean he'd beat any fighter ever, even in his own weight class. People get bigger, faster, and stronger with time. The fighters of today wouldn't be able to touch the fighters sixty years from now either unless we go into some global famine and people stop physically progressing.
Kid, I have to admit I don't get on here as much as I do, and I'm in the twilight of my illustrious pwnage career. I'd like to think the likes of you, Hurricane and Hitman932 can carry on the good work for future generations to admire.
I have to admit, I keep thinking of leaving this place. But I just keep coming back, it's way too addictive here.
Is it boastful of me to think of you as my protege, kid?
Not at all, Duke.
As a young noob I admired your great work, I believe my first encountering of you was your "Borehard Slopkins Mad Skillz" thread, I was hooked.
In all honesty, I think some ppl saying Ray is great and such and such are just jumping on the bandwagon. I bet they couldn't name 5 opponents he's fought or 5 videos.
AND????
Both fighters are fighting in the same weather, so no excuses there. Just like Cooney - Holmes. It was a hot day.
Go watch the fight.
Until then, Kindly STFU.
When did Robinson fight at 175, I am taking about 175 ROY
He fought Joey Maxin at Lightheavyweight, in 100 + degree heat, Robinson was way ahead on the cards after 13/14 (Can't remember off hand) rounds but collapsed to heat exaustion.
When did Robinson fight at 175, I am taking about 175 ROY
He fought Joey Maxim and gave a pretty damn good showing until he collapsed. However I do think Jones beats Robinson at 175.
OH SHIT!!!!!!! :lol1: :lol1:
T-97 on a PERFECTLY EXECUTED dope-a-dope mission, succeeds with honours.
I feel like i'm just hitting my Prime around now, Duke.
