I don't understand how Marg is a protected fighter!

None of those fighters are protected. Horrible list. Ditto. Why do polls with such very selective entries, defeats the point to me and makes me question it's motives.

That list is wrong - none of those guys are over-protected. Should be Erdei, the Peterson brothers, Berto, Dawson, Y. Foreman, Duddy, K. Johnson, Minto, Salita, and Ward. They all fight old fighters or clubfighters. I go with Duddy. he has not one name on his resume I can even think i might remember.

What fighter gets sheltered from the top fighters in their division while being hyped as the best since the creation of the sport? of that list calzaghe and hatton are the most protected. calzaghe fought euro-bums for 15 years and fights the senior citizen's circuit at 175, but still won't give hopkins a rematch. hatton atleast fought pbf which was a risky fight. although rjj did not take alot of risks either.

RJJ protects pretty well, but he can get caught here and there. Ricky Hatton usually gets socked in the face, but recovers quick enough Margarito protects his face with his face, but he keeps on coming Calzaghe is actually pretty well guarded if someone puts the pressure on him. .......Meaning which fighter avoided the tougher opposition. Strum has stepped up a little the last two fights and is stepping up pretty big the next fight. And no way does Guzman belong on that list lol
