Someone Stop the IBO!

They are placing adds out in other publications (just saw one in Boxing Digest) trying to promote themselves as a new leader of sanctioning bodies. It started with Tarver's dumb ass, but now other jokers are started to carry around these IBO belts like they actually mean something. I think elite fighters should boycott this belt, not support further diminishing of the word "champion." Now big names like Dawson, Hatton, Wlad Klitschko, Juan Diaz, and Nonito Donaire are carrying these trinkets like they actually mean something! Isn't 4 belts (5 including the Ring belt) enough?!? Its getting ridiculous. What are your thoughts on the IBO's rise to prominence, and how can we stop these evil-doers?

I can't believe it's flying over EVERYONE'S heads.... Need I remind everyone of the Uber-Ultra-UBF-Interim Ring Belt? No? It'll be there eventually. You'll see. These bodies are getting way out of hand.

Ibo The IBO doesn't want to be the 5th belt. They want to replace the "credible" 4 "ranking organizations" by crowning the 1 real world champion, using computerized rankings and by being honest and transparent. Boxing doesn't need more belts but the sport of boxing would be much better off if the IBO was the recognized title.

IBO is actually a decent governing body and so far less corrupt that the other 4 but the last thing we need is another major belt. Perhaps the IBO should be the only BIG belt? (I wish)

I have heard that they're ratings are more logical than others, and their less corrupt than some others. However, aren't most like that to begin with and abuse they're power, when they can down the road? I'm caught, but yeh the last thing we need is another belt. Everyone's gona bloody have one now. Everyone's a world champion, how utterly confusing to casual fans no wonder their being put off boxing. It is impossible for ANY of these organizations to be logical because they WILL NOT recognize another organizations champion. They act as if he doesn't exist. That in itself is not logical.

There should be one belt per weight class IMO. I mean, we have the ****ing WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO, WBO, WBU and I even remember Audley Harrison prancing about with a WBF title.
