1. Mayweather; 2. Heavyweight Lennox Lewis; 3. Middleweight Bernard Hopkins; 4. Manny Pacquiao; 5. Super welterweight Winky Wright; 6. Marco Antonio Barrera; 7. Erik Morales; 8. Shane Mosley; 9. Joe Calzaghe; 10. Miguel Cotto.
Here's the article: http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news;_ylt=AhnlFhQvedasSKzTOGTrDYuUxLYF?slug=ki-boxrankings102408&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
The list is pretty much routine (safe) with all the usual names expected to see.
Maybe Tarver should be included for shocking the world against RJJ. Nobody was expecting that.
where is Diego Corrales, Roy jones, jmm
I have to tell you... I think Castillo > Corrales any day.
JMM doesn't have very many big wins on his resume, and does have a couple of bad losses. I think P4P of the last decade is a bit too high of praise for him to be honest.
I posted this in the other thread..
I dont know about my rankings, but I'd definitely have Morales, Barrera, and Calzaghe all ahead of Winky. Cotto shouldnt be in the top 10 over a guy like Castillo or even JMM. Lewis would be way lower than 2nd too.
Roy didnt cross my mind. Probably because he lost three times since 2000 and got knocked out brutally in two of those fights. Maybe the win at Heavy is good enough to get him in. I personally have no problem with guys like Chico and Hatton being left out.
Edit: Then again, Roy did beat Tarver, Woods, and Harding too. I can see him being in.
I like how everyone is freaking out about Cotto.
WTF is Mosley doing on there...
And yes, where... in the ****... is Roy Jones Jr.?
What's wrong with Mosely? DLH twice, Mayorga, Collazo, Holiday, Molina, Vargas twice, Lightweight champion, Welterweight champion, Light Middle champ
