I think Zab need a good fight at 140, against maybe Kendall Holt, then if he looks good, i think he can fight Ricky. That could be a great fight and if Zab can make 140 whithout problems he could beat the "Hitman"
being that styles make fights, both fighters styles would bother each other.
Judah cant deal with pressure fighters, and Hatton cant deal with slick fighters that can pack a punch. This would be a pick-em fight. I would go with Hatton though.
It would be a good fight while it lasted, but as has been pointed out previously, Zab and pressure dont mix, therefore, unless Zab lands one clean lucky shot(which he might), i got Hatton By TKO8
Hatton has no chin but has only been Ko'd by the best fighter of the generation?
No defence but has won 44 of 45 fights..
No one has even come close to beating Hatton at 140. Judah hasn't fought at 140 in 5 years, he would be wieght drained at best and more importantly everytime he has moved up to elite level he's been found out and at 140 hatton is elite.
Hatton by UD if not late KO.
Did i ever mention how much i cant stand f.uckin zab i swear if ricky ever lost to this guy i would lose all hope for humanity
Be careful...You may be held accountable for those words. Zab would beat Hatton at 140. Malignaggi has a good chance of beating Hatton and he possess limited power if none at all.
Hatton is befuddled by quick handed fighters and southpaws. Zab would have no problem getting in his straight left, uppercut, or right hook. After seeing how diminished Hatton's punch resistance seemed against Lazcano, I highly doubt he'd be able to absorb power shots from Zab. Especially the ones he doesn't see coming.
Judah would win this fight. I think he would win this fight easily. Zab is too fast, his punches are too sneaky, and he hits too hard at 140 for Hatton.
I think Judah is a super waste of talent. When he is on, he beats Floyd. When he turns it off, he gets KO'd by Tszyu or Cotto.
I think that if he lands a few good punches, he can get Hatton in trouble. The problem is that Floyd was the only guy to do it and he was the very best at the time. We already know what the common opponent did to Zab as well. If Hatton pressures like he did against Tszyu, he will get Judah out of there. If he fights like he did in his last fight, he will go to sleep. Zab hits real hard and acurate when motivated. Especially @ 140.
I would like to see that fight, but don't agree with Judah getting a shot at a title for a while. He's like the lighter weight Ruiz or Rahman. They just get as many chances as they want. It's bullshit, IMO.
People forget that Zab was absolutely raping Tszyu before he got knocked out. RAPING.
His only chance is an early knockout. Its possible, but if Hatton really has improved his defence, Im sure he could play it safe for 4 rounds - after which Judah is no longer dangerous
I gotta go with Judah in this one, either by TKO or UD. I just can't see Hatton dealing with his speed. I've thought for a while that Judah belongs at 140 and think he could still have some success there. I'm also not a big Hatton fan and looking at the 140 pound division right now think a focused, or even semi-focused Judah could be the man there.
If he fights his fight Zab will stop Hatton. Even though he didn't win he didn't look half bad against Clottey. I still don't think Hatton deserves that #1 spot, that being said I do think there are fighters at 140 that could beat Judah. Holt, Malignaggi and Witter could contest for that spot in my opinion
Are you pulling my pisser? Witter? How in the **** is Witter still considered a top contender at 10st? Fuck me sideways. Fucking Witter.
i really hate the guy imo he is the type of fighter that is wrong with boxing at the minute, hes had waaaayy too many chances. the real crime is that he is probably keeping a better young and hungry fighter out of the top10 and out of the big fights.
but if i was a good contender id really like to fight him, hes beatable and is a great name to have on your record.
do i think hed win against hatton - no. even if hes motivated you just know that ricky will be motivated as well and he would have him hurt at least once during the fight.
it would be interesting for ricky though. after the loss to mayweather i think ricky needed some new goals and unifying his division and the belts had to one of those goals. whats more with big names like paulie malignaggi, timothy bradley and zab judah on the radar again ricky has a real chance to regain his status as one of the best p4p fighters in the world.

100% zab stops hatton . . . and hatton/tszyu was hattons last good performance against good competition imo. zab is tricky, quick and has good power. hatton leads with his face and has no chin.
In a Zab Judah fight, you always get the feeling that he can stop his opponent quick (AKA in 4 rounds or less). And then it doesn't happen. Then he lapses. Then he loses focus. Then he loses the fight. Happens all the time when he steps the competition up.
