because when i watch the big name fights, all u see is loads of people jumping off their seatr when a boxer is landing a big combo.
Now this would piss me off if im sitting ringside and everytime there is a good exchange, people infront of me jump up in excitement like a teenage boy has just seen a pair of tits!
I can understand why they get excited, but FFS show some respect for people sitting behind u, why would they wanna see ur back when the fight gets interesting!
Im just suprised there isnt any ringside etiquette ???
Why would u pay for good seats just to miss the exciting parts of the fight by an idiot jumping up and f***ing ur view up.
Lol, just always thought how come there isnt any rules at a big fight?
the only mega fight of recent vintage was Mayweather DLH. I was about 10 rows off the floor dead center for that so I couldn't gauge that. We were in the section HBO seats their staff and execs so they were mostly quiet and not fight fans
For cards I didn't cover I was 2nd row for Barrera Juarez I, 4th row for Castillo Corrales II, 5th row for Margarito Williams. Honestly I dont pay attention to people jumping out of there seats because usually everyone else is including me.
That's why americans are so inferior to eastern europeans. If you were eastern european like WLAD OWNS, you would be about 6'11 so this really wouldnt affect you.
That and they have bigger balls than us.
Dont knowone think there should be a rule where u cant jump outa ur seat when ur ringside.
Id be so pissed if someone kept jumping up when there is a good exchange/build up to a KO,
I will be in NYC during the Calzaghe/Jones fight, but the prices for a decent seat are out of my range. I wonder if you can see anything other than video screen from the $200 seats on Madison Sq Gdns.
Personally I think ring side tickets are well over priced, but if people want to pay a stupid amount of money to do it then fair enough.
The best seat in the house is watching it at home on your sofa.
I've been to many fights, but there's one thing I really miss....and that's the commentry.
I used to go York Hall all the time and watch good fights from ringside. you can see the other chaps eyes roll back when they start taking some serious digs. then i watched a fight in a bigish venue and not ringside and wasnt that impressed. Then i watched a hatton fight from half way back once and realised i was watching the big screen and not the actual fight. And it is shit without the commentary!
so now i stay at home.
