what are some of the worst career decisions you have seen in the sport of boxing?
i'll get the ball rolling...
Zab Judah not staying at junior welterweight
Roy Jones immediately moving down and fighting at light heavyweight after winning the heavyweight title
Mike Tyson firing Kevin Rooney and letting don king/robin givens manipulate and distract him
Kelly Pavlik fighting Bernard Hopkins
Muhammed Ali - this isnt really career but i think fighting an extended time hurt him outside the ring unfortunately
Fernando Vargas taking steroids and fighting tito and oscar too soon
you got links to marquez photos?
1K offer for photos, I havn't see em'
I have no interest in that type of stuff, but there are quite a few other people here who post them frequently.
Oscar De La Hoya and Juan Manuel Marquez allowing themselves to be caught in um...compromising photographs.

Mayweather retiring. There is still about 4/5 fights that could be made and looking at it from a "total$" standpoint, cost himself around 50-75 million in paydays. DUMBASS!
I have to agree with you. What was Floyd thinking?!

Damn that move is pretty damn wrong... he already pulled an upset why should he still give a rematch...
Most of the time the champion puts the stipulation in the contract for any defense that if they lose, they are entitled to an immediate rematch (Taylor-Hopkins II was made because of this).
1 is 100% right.
The other two... :lol1:
What was the plan McGirt should have drawn up? Haha, I don't think anything changes the assbeating that went down that night.
And are you saying Khan's people should have milked him a few more fights, had him beat Malignaggi for a 140 title and then ducked punchers the rest of his career?
By the way... I have never seen it, but I was wondering wtf happened in Lorenzo vs. Campbell, because... Lorenzo is real bad, and Campbell is real good. Just curious what went wrong to cause that kind of decision in that fight. :hijacked:
I don't disagree that Gatti was in for a long night regardless, but trying to outbox Floyd was just silly. His only chance, slim as it was, was to try and turn it into a street fight.
IMO, Khan's people should have slowed down the hype, and kept the kid in safe fights until they could have taught him some basic head movement and defense, and how to roll with punches.
The Lorenzo fight is a fair question. Nate was weight drained, and had nothing. He couldnt make 130 anymore. I bumped it up to 132, but it still didnt matter. He was a dead man, and he knew it. And with Lorenzo throwing 100 punches a round, there was no way Nate could match that workrate, didn't have enough pop on his shots to get Lorenzo out of there, and ultimately lost a fair decision. The only thing he could have done would have been to pull a "Guzman" and withdraw from the fight at the last minute, but that's not who Nate is.
Shit... that might top the list, considering he gave up an immediate Pacquiao rematch that would have served him very well, instead of losing or getting robbed (I've heard both) in Indonesia.
yeah your right, he fought at iNDOnesia? and yet he was the champion at that time, i would blame that one on his handlers. although you could argue that with him signing with GBP was a great move for his career. isnt JMM with TOP RANK before he went to GBP?
Nacho turning down $750k for Marquez-Pac 2 and getting stuck with the Chris John fight for $30k instead.
McGirt's gameplan calling for Gatti to "outbox" Floyd.
Team Khan putting Amir in with a puncher.
