The big names we're all discussing right now are Hopkins, Roy, Calzaghe, Pavlik, Dawson and Abraham, but Abraham's really only in the discussion to fight Pavlik. Nobody else would bother with him
Situation 1: Calzaghe beats Roy
CALZAGHE vs. DAWSON - assuming Calzaghe doesn't puss out and retire with 1 good win (Hopkins)
or CALZAGHE vs. HOPKINS II
and PAVLIK vs. ABRAHAM - Pavlik lost, so he has no options on a big fight against Calzaghe. Abraham's his only choice for middleweight supremacy
Situation 2: Roy beats Calzaghe
ROY vs. HOPKINS
or ROY vs. DAWSON
or HOPKINS vs. DAWSON
and CALZAGHE vs. PAVLIK - since both guys will have lost
or PAVLIK vs. ABRAHAM
I can't decide if I'd rather see Roy-Hopkins II (should be a STINKER but important fight) or Calzaghe vs. Dawson more, but with a Roy win over Calzaghe, maybe we get both. The fight I really want is Pavlik-Abraham, which I think will happen for sure now thanks to Hopkins.
I just threw out anything I thought could possibly happen.
Roy and Hopkins aren't going to be fighting anybody but each other. Hopkins might fight Calzaghe again, but neither guy is likely to go after Dawson. If Calzaghe loses, he'll want to reclaim some light heavyweight supremacy and maybe fight Dawson. Or maybe he takes his loss and retires like Naz?
Ha, you compared Calzaghe to Naz.
That was almost as dumb as this,

I think zaghe is gonna retire after the jones fight. And even if he didn't theres no way he would step in the ring with a young lion like Dawson too much risk and not enough money. I think only way joe doesnt retire is if a big money fight comes up where there isn't much risk. he has defintely said on a number of occasions he wants to retire undefeated.

pavlik losing to hopkins sets up the fight with abraham and possibly paul williams. pavlik will probably campaign exclusively at 160.
Hopkins might get a shot at RJJ because RJJ still wants to fight. Hopkins might not get the rematch with CAlzaghe either because he has no balls or hes going to retire.
The loser of RJJ/Calzaghe might get dawson.
Hey people I heard Calzaghe ws going to retire after the Jones fight... He wants to retire unbeaten, is that true?
I would love to see Jones vs Hopkins II and my money is on Hopkins and Pavlik vs Abraham and my money is on Pavlik. Those two fights I think would be great.
Pavlik was the only real guy out there likely to get Joe in for another fight. He was being hyped as the a future legend and would beat Joe, Joe has to face him. Joe and many were saying he's had a couple of defences and isn't on my level, just like Lacy. What's happened, Pavlik just got schooled by the guy Joe just beat.
Sorry but this leaves it unlikely Joe will fight on. Don't know cry out for Dawson, it was Pavlik or nothing for months and now he's out of the picture. Let the guy retire for christs sake. Roy vs Nard 2, I've got Nard decision.
Even if Roy loses I can see a B Hop-Jones fight getting made (aslong as Jones does not get embarrassed). That is a big money fight, easily the biggest for either fighter.
