He did land some fair shots on Hopkins from what I saw but they didn't have much of an effect.
Calzaghes punches were more meaningful than Pavliks last night.

Pavlik would never tough Mayweather with anything heavy. Hell, he didn't land anything meaningful on a much bigger, slower target.

Pavlik wouldn't have to be as respectful of Mayweather as he was of Hopkins, Hopkins hurt him badly with some of his combinations.
Lets not forget that Mayweather started his career at 130 lbs and is at a 6 inch height disadvantage.
Pound for pound he could do to Pavlik what he did to Corrales.
Pavlik, the weight was a big part of it I believe. I don't think it's unrealistic Mayweather could have a chance. He did perform well at 154, but Pavlik is a big middleweight with a lot of power.
