Well Taylor wanted nothing at all to do with Froch. That should tell you something. Taylor is scared.
Anyone who hates Froch has no reason to hate him at all. I can only put it down to bias based on nationality.
I doubt that Taylor was scared. It's a question of economics. Much more to beearned fighting Lacy. After Lacy is done with, Taylor can pick any of the champions he'd like. Taylor holds the keys to HBO at 168.
I dont hate Froch. In fact I like his cockyness. But I do really want to see him against a fighter with a pulse. It's a damn shame the Inkin fight didn't come off. At least he fights Pascal next, which is a good measurement for Froch (and Pascal for that matter).

Calzaghe wanted nothing to do with Froch either - does that mean he was scared? Obviously not; there is more than one reason someone does not take a fight.
Froch/Pascal is rumored to be getting picked up by Showtime in the U.S. I really hope that happens. Would be good for him and the sport, if he's as good as he hypes himself.
Pascal is a test in the boxing category but I think most people believe that Pascal will lose because Pascal's chin looked suspect against an avrg opponent in his last fight.
So an ideal would be for him to test his chin a little and show some boxing skills up until about round 9, be leading on the cards and then KO?
I think sometimes you gotta just watch a few fights of a guy to gauge there skill level. No he's not faced top competition but he's been tested and still puts some combinations together for people to see. Having cynical negative view of a boxer using the fact they've not been on your tele in your room as an excuse suggests some ignorance. Try youtube and say he's got good power, bad movement, or something at least, all I'm saying.
By the way, sick sig, that was quite a slug.
Kessler, Taylor, Pavlik, Dawson, Calzaghe would all beat him from what i've seen.

like me wrong... Can he do it? Is he better then what people give him credit for?
Still slightly unproven, but I have been watching Froch since he turned pro and always saw something special.
So my answer is yes. He can compete at the highest level and people will be surprised at how strong he is. Froch hasn't been given a chance yet, that's all.

Pascal would be a reasonably good test for him. Watch that online if it's not on your national tv.

Once he gets that belt if he does, I think he'll finally be able land some bigger fights.
He's to open and lazy in the ring from what I've seen, but he's pretty dangerous and certainly competitive with the top guys at least, with a chance.
He's not fought anyone half decent yet but he's not been protected, he just cant secure the fights.
Comes across as the kind of guy who would step into the ring with anyone.
Good power, great uppercut.
why would you hate Carl Froch anyway.
It'd be a bit like hating a neighbour you barely know and never talk too.
He has looked like shit against Bums, and then he has taken out good level European opposition with a single punch like Brian Magee in round 11. So at the very least he is a dangerous fighter for 12 rounds.
