It was the left shoulder. And if you take Vitali's left away from him, he's nothing more than mediocre, really. That left hand, and the things he can do with it, really make him what he is. His other assets are all based off it, and without it, he wouldn't even be known by most of you guys.
Vlad owns you just dont get it, bryd was worst than a bum when he fought vitali, not a single decent win on his record, at least buster had a couple decent wins coming in to the tyson fight, buster wasnt a bum he was a decent heavy weight, look at the shape busters was in, and the way he fought tyson, then look at what shape he was in when he fought evander lol buster was nearly 250 pounds, the fact is buster dominated the entire fight and obviously won, vitali won every single round and wasn't even close to being hurt and he lost by tko, I know viali your favorite fighter but thats more embarassing.
Quiting its the most embarasing thing you can do in boxing well that and do the chicken dance after u get sent to disneyland like zab judah did:D
Bahaha! Yes, that was a classic.
I love Kostya for that punch.

Prime Tyson getting destroyed by Buster "The bum" Douglas was obviously way more embarrasing.
Vitali was dominating Byrd until he suffered a severe injury...his arm was literally falling off.
Hell yeh Tysons is more embarrasing...
He was a bad mutha shut your mouth back then
he wasnt meant to get whooped by a novice in douglas...
VK was just like "I broke my shit forget this"
Those judges should be fired, Douglass isn't the one who had a ****ed up face after the fight. Man, this is why I hate judges... They nutt-hug sometimes on fighters they like watch fighting. We all loved tysons cool knock outs, but that is the definition of nutt-hugging. Tyson didn't look good in this fight at all, his knock down of Douglass didn't even look nearly as impressive when he knocked out his other opponents. This fight was far from close...
As I said, these things can't be assumed in boxing, Douglas should have been way in front but at the point of the stoppage, all he would have gotten was a draw.
These things really can't be assumed in boxing, I mean one judge had Tyson winning the fight against Douglas and one had it even.

He should have assumed he was ahead since he was battering Chris Byrd... He only wouldn't have been ahead if there was crooked judges.

He was far enough ahead to give away the remaining rounds and still would have won a decision, he didn't know that though.

Cotto lost to Margarito.
Id say vitali, people cant deny that buster came in to that fight in great shape and fought a brilliant fight, vitale came into that fight undefeated with 27 wins all by knockout bryd was already tko,d by ike and hadn't beat a decent fighter yet. Tyson was getting dominated pretty much the entire fight and obviously lost, vitali dominated every round and lost by not getting hurt by a single punch, you cant really lose anymore embrassing then that.
Couldn't Vitali have just ran around the ring like silencer said to win a decision against chris byrd?

The way in which Klitschko lost was more embarassing, he just had to stand up for the rest of the fight to win.

Tyson undertrained and underestimated a motivated but 42 to 1 underdog while being the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. That loss is much more embarrssing than suffering and injury and quitting rather than chance making it permanent in my opinion. One was legitimately hurt, the other never put the time in to make a sincere effort.

But Tyson's loss was pretty embarassing as well, losing to a 42-1 underdog, not only losing but getting beat up for the majority of the fight was embarassing.
Cotto lost to Margarito.
That is not really embarrassing since Cotto was fighting against a guy naturally bigger then him. Plus, how is it embarrassing to lose to a guy who beat other champions like Cintron? Or are you saying it was embarrassing the way Cotto quit?
To this day I still can't believe he pulled it off with one ****in' arm... in the same round nonetheless.
Me either, Danny is a tough guy, for sure. Only thing that bothered me about that fight is whether Potter knew Danny had dislocated his shoulder. If it'd been me, and I did know that Williams had pulled his left shoulder out like that, I'd have refused to continue even at the risk of being DQ'd, rather than throw punches at a guy who isn't at his best. To me, even if I'd won, I'd have felt like we were both cheated. Him, because of the injury itself, and me because I wasn't able to prove myself against him at his best. Sportsmanship is largely missing in pretty much all professional sports today. There is still the occasional glimpse, but they're rare, and easily missed.
I only seen a few clips of the Tyson-Douglas fight but when Buster got knockdown, i read that the ref counted too slow or something like that.
Yeah, he did but that doesn't really matter since I thought the refs can count as fast or as slow as they want. There not counting by seconds like people think, plus Douglass would have gotten back up even if it wasn't for the slow count, he didn't look hurt at all from the knock down. Tyson was all over the place when he got knocked the **** out. His mouth piece and shit came out and his face looked ****ing busted the hell up.

Vitali's loss to Chris Byrd where he was dominating Byrd the entire fight and then decides to quit or Tyson getting his ass kicked by Buster Douglass.
