close enough that it could have went either way, but hatton had the kd so i gave him the nod!
collazo knocked hatton down in the 12th as well. don't be a reject and not score it a knockdown just cause someone else makes a mistake. you don't have to make the same mistake they did. he actually hurt hatton and had him on queer street(calzaghes fav place) hatton tries to clinch after getting his bell rung but collazo doesn't let him and he goes stumbling like a drunk onto the canvas. of course it wasn't ruled a knockdown cause this is boxing and making sense would be stupid.
i hate hatton...he is my second most hated fighter(behind hopkins...)and i scored this fight for him...i think collazo lsot 114-113 at best.......but i had it 115-112, hatton...
Because I watched the fight. Hatton was landing more punches. They werent as clean or hard as Collazos - I dont think Hatton has any significant power at Welter - but they were landing.
No my point is, you can land more eye catching and cleaner blows and still lose the fight by being outworked.
Hatton landed about an average of four more punches around. And while I thought it was a very close fight, that isn't a significant amount when the other guy is landing the heavier artillary causing the more obvious damage over the course of a fight. I like Hatton and I had him winning, but I wouldn't argue with anyone who thought Collazo earned a draw or split decision. Different judges focus on different styles. While one person saw Hatton win, another is perfectly justified claiming a Collazo win. There was certainly no robbery though.
thats a good point about hatton and hbo, that was their first fight in a 3 or 4 fight deal. no way hatton was gonna lose on the cards.
well collazo has to go on a nice little run, and maybe hatton will give him a rematch out there in england.
i remember collazo stating that he would go out there in a heartbeat.
Hatton won the fight, 115-112. A score of 114-113 for Hatton is also reasonable, but no way did Collazo win the fight. Collazo came on later in the fight as Hatton appeared to tire, but it was too little too late.
Check the punch statistics for this fight.
Punch statistics can only tell you so much.
Not disagreeing that Hatton won the fight, just saying you need to be careful when using punch stats as justification for a certain result.
Whatever makes you feel better, man. Hope the meds kick in soon.
Still not gonna explain the comment?
You're just like your buddy, bsrizpac, cant handle a debate so resort to empty race accusations and then run away when its time to back them up.
Hope your balls drop man.
You're an absolute joke. And im not the first one to say it. Have the bollox to back up your empty accusations instead of running away like a coward.
Hahaha its funny, I mustve really upset you. So much that you went that far to try and insult me. Now you realise your mistake and are doing a runner. Sad little man

Ok. Stay right there - I'll be right back!

I had it 114-113 Hatton and haven't watched it since that night. That pretty much told me anybody who could box and had power was going to destroy Hatton, which Floyd did
What's your take on this fight? Aside from the early kd, i dont feel Hatton did enough for the win. What are your thoughts?
I thought collazo won it but it was a messy fight.
LMAO. Med Time!
yeah - a link. Like I did? Was it common knowledge he had "only a month"?
LMAO!
Again showing you're childishness. Throwing around accusations but cowardly trying to weasel out of them with one word answers and laughs.
A pathetic TWAT.
Im still waiting for what being not from the UK has to do with being African American. Chop chop.
No. God do you ever read anyones posts without twisting it and putting a spin on it to suit your argument? You're a total twat.
LMAO. Med Time!
Provide a link? Isnt it common knowledge he was preparing to fight Lazcano? And once again, calling me a liar over the timescale - it wasnt technically "2 months" as you said either - does that make you a liar? What a pedantic twat. The point was that Hatton didnt get ideal preparation for the fight.

No you're a weasel. You said pretend it was two AFRICAN AMERICANS. Now you're saying "pretend it wasnt a UK fighter" - how do those two things go hand in hand you cowardly twat?
LMAO!
So now YOU'RE compubox.
Maybe.
Feel free to provide a link that shows he was preparing to fight Lazcano ALL THAT TIME. And it better not be from MONTHS before. We already know you lied about having "only one month to prepare."
You ARE an idiot.

Hatton won a close a fight. GET OVER IT. NO WAY WAS IT A ROBBERY.
An example of a robbery: George Foreman vs. Shannon Briggs. Foreman clearly wins 8 rounds, two judges give Briggs NINE rounds. IMFUKINPOSSIBLE. Thats a robbery. Not Hatton v. Collazo.
Agreed. Robbery is loosely used these days.
You must really be eating peanut butter and crack sandwiches like your avatar.
I'm not the one with Zab Judah listed as one of my favorite fighters. I know someone who actually did crack with Zab.
