In order to beat Mike Tyson, you need 5 basic criteria:
1: durable chin: Tyson is going to land strong shots no matter how tight your defense is.
2: good defense: a fighter has to limit the volume of big shots he takes
3: enough power: a fighter has to keep Tyson honest
4: endurance: take Tyson into the later rounds when his power is diminished
5: confidence: Tyson never beat a guy that was unafraid
Klits may have criteria 3 & 4, but not 1,2 & 5
Klits would be overwhelmed almost immediately, without the chin and defense to remain upright. He matches up better against less aggressive, less powerful fighters in which he can find ways to beat. He doesn't have a swiss-army-knife of boxing tools to cope with different situations against different fighters.
Buster Douglass is a bum, he couldn't even hold onto his belt one time... Got ko'd in the 2nd round by a cruiser-weight...
Which should show you what happens when you are motivated to fight and not. His body shape showed us what his mind was saying. Cash-out time.
How do you know that Wlad hits exactly 10 times harder than buster douglas you dont he may hit harder but never 10 times harder thats just stupid, and any one that thinks buster douglas is a bum has not seen any of his fights outside his poor showing against Holyfield the guy was a very good fighter, better than sanders purrity and brewster.
According to McCall, Douglas hit him harder than Lewis and gave him his toughest fight.

Here's my analysis
Vitali would keep the smaller Tyson at bay with his superior jab and pick him apart with lead left hooks and big right hands....The mental midget Tyson would get frustrated and discouraged when he realizes he can't intimidate or hurt the iron chinned 6'7 monster Vitali....Tyson either quits or gets KO'd.
Vitali by KO or TKO
And yet Tyson was able to out-jab 6'5+ Tony Tucker who had a much better jab than Vitali...faster for sure.
You also forget body-shots. The key for Tyson while with Rooney, besides the jab, head-movment, combinations, etc. was that he threw to the body. Even tall fighters can be taken down with body-shots. Throw to the body and the arms and head dip low enough for you to bang it. THat's what Happened to 6'6 Ribalta.
Mental Midget Tyson yet Vitali quit against Byrd. Good job.
It took how many years for Tyson to finally quit on his stool?
Figure, he didn't prepare for any fight after Spinks, got his ass kicked by Douglas (and didn't quit), went to prison, came back out and went all the way until McBride.
Wlad gets beaten by Tyson and Vitali will give him trouble. Never really broke down the Vitali fight so I'm not sure. One thing that Vitali should never do with Tyson would be to keep his hands down which he often does.
If we could just mold the two Klitschko brothers together that would be some fighter.
Wlad hadn't hit his prime yet
Wlad's prime started when he beat Peter
He has been undefeated since that fight and he avenged the Brewster loss...dominated Brewster in a 6th round TKO win
And yet you think Tyson, without Rooney and all that was said about him leading up to the fight with Douglas was somehow in his prime?
Picking and choosing at its best.
Tyson would charge out and maul him. I reckon a Tyson KO somewhere in the first 3-5 rounds. The onslaught would be too fast and agressive for Wlad to get out of the way.
Sanders ran out of gas against Rahman
Rahman and vitali both said Sanders was the fastest and hardest puncher they had ever faced.
Vitali may have said it, but we all know that Lewis was the hardest puncher that Rachman has faced, because he knocked him out cold with a two punch combination. I think this says it all. Rachman actually beat Sanders.
I really didn't see that much in Sanders, and the highlight of his entire career was hitting on a a soft chin and that was only one fight, and he hadn't previously or since beat anyone or ever looked that good again. He was mentally discouraged against Rachman( and was stopped) and was also knocked out by Tony Tubbs( who was blown away by Tyson) younger brother Nate Tubbs. He was also blown away in his last fight as well.

Give me your technical breakdown of this fight Wlad Owns.
I'm that moron!:boxing:
I'm willing to concede that Vitali,at his best, for instance defeats any version of Mike circa and post 1995 and maybe even for the period, after he left Rooney.
(I am far more dubious about Wladimir's chances, though.)

Sanders could've ruled the heavyweight division if he had been more dedicated....very fast hands, huge puncher and an iron chin.....he was always a very dangerous fighter in the early round before he ran out of gas.
Anyway, Vitali destroyed Sanders and he would also destroy Prime Tyson

I agree 100%
only a moron would think that mental midget 5'11 Tyson would beat the 6'7 hard hitting, iron chinned monster Vitali.
Vitali destroys prime Tyson for sure

I'm interested what was the best body-puncher the Klitschkos faced and how they neutralised that attack ?
How strong are their infighting skills?
If they could not hold how would they stop Tyson from throwing combinations, after moving inside off a jab or a left hook?(remember Mike in his prime wasn't always throwing right hand bombs, had a great jab and often came in from the side leading with a left hook to the body)
If they did decide to hold, for most of the fight, how would they get the decision?
Vitali would be an extremely hard fight for Tyson, although he could very well be stopped on cuts. He could get on the inside and bang on that long body and his hand speed is unlike anything either Klitschko has seen before. I know Corrie Sanders gave both of them the fight of their life.
Sanders could've been a major player and champion in the heavyweight division if he had been more dedicated and trained harder....southpaw, very fast hands, athletic, huge puncher and an iron chin.....he was always a very dangerous fighter in the early rounds before he ran out of gas.
