THis is what I think of the heavy wieght division....Wlad and his Brother shadows back to back above what they have conquered....

I don't think he will ever be ready unless we see Wlad slipping, he does certain things wrong that I'm sure are a result of starting boxing late.
It is most obvious when he is on the inside and he throws hooks, he isn't very good at moving around the ring on his backfoot either. I know he did it yesterday against Stiverne but it was because Stiverne was following rather than actively cutting the ring off.
Wilder has a great personality and a big punch, but I'm certain his reign as a HW champ will be a short one.
I disagree with this statement for one reason, I think he will be matched in his favor. If he is matched correctly he can retain that belt for a while.
I agree with your statement. I don't think Wilder is ready for Wlad as of now. I just think he is entertaining and it would be good to see BOXING focused on something other than Floyd and Manny!!!

he is full out thug don't let the propaganda fool you.
wlad will crush him. this is the best america can do after so long???? smh.
Where is your proof of Wilder being a Thug? He was an olympic champion, hes a father and now a champion. Where is your proof to your statement. It seems your like one of those religious people who hide behind god to make false statements about others. Check your self my friend!!!
Honestly, I think Tyson Fury beats him. Not because Fury is great but because Wilder isn't very good. Fury is probably the best inside fighter at Heavyweight, and he is 6,9 which will stand him in good stead. He is no slouch on the outside either, I honestly believe the only think you have to worry about when fighting Wilder is the right hand. He will get found out quickly. Wlad would demolish him quickly and Wlad never stops anyone quickly.
I think Povetkin, Haye beat Wilder also (if Haye is still any good). Bear in mind I'm not huge Wlad fan at all, think Vitali was head and shoulders above him.

wilder is mediocre trash thug.
wlad is unified WBA super, IBF, WBO, Ring, ATG future HOF'er, father, good mannered well spoken public figure humanitarian, loved internationally.
wlad would absolutely crush wilder right now. prime vitali would have done worse.
Did you watch the promo on Wilder? If you did you wouldn't be posting this trash. He is a father and a good one at that. His little girl had been through a bunch of medical procedures and he supported her since the young age of 19. Do your research before you post things my friend.... Praise Jesus!!!!
Anthony Joshua - 10-0 10KO's (he has boxed all of 17 rounds)
Tony Parker did you mean Joseph Parker?? 12-0 10KO's (he beat 3 40+ year olds)
Hughie Fury 14-0 8KO's - His combined opponent win to loss record is 113 - 181???
None of these HW's are out of the USA either I may point out. Who out there right now is ready to step up to Wilder?? Who can actually pose a challenge??

- The Klitschko era is right up there with or is, the strongest era beyond any doubt.
- Klitschko dominates like no other before him the strongest era.
-Either Klitschko would have also dominated in the 90's too.
Everybody knows it! It's a no-brainer!
These threads are simply bad sportsmanship!
You have yourself a trinket, enjoy it while it lasts!
And you get your ass booted back out of HW again :lol1:
Well, you been away for a longtime, it's not a garbage heap anymore. There are a lot of hot prospects climbing the hw ladder these day. Anthony Joshua, Tony Parker, Hughie Fury, and a bunch of others are stepping up their game
Its still a garbage heap. Hot prospects don't make it better as they are just guys who have proven nothing.
I have no doubt that Vitali would do fine in any other era. Wlad, I'm not so sure he would hold up.
Vitali > Wlad any time in any ERA just look at the fight with Lewis. That fight right there, I mean those rounds had more excitement then the last 10 years of Wlad fights combined. I don 't see any opponent on Wlad's resume near the quality of Lewis. Even though Vitali lost that fight and it was close but I agree with the stoppage he gained more respect than Wlad will ever have.
Tyson Fury, Alexander Povetkin, Bryant Jennings, Kubrat Pulev, Andy Ruiz, Csar Glaskov - all these guys are viable contenders.
Also you're quick to criticize Parker and Joshua because of their records, but have you seem these guys fight? These guys are well in front of the learning curve and are only gonna get better.
The division is experiencing a renaissance right now and once Wlad retires there is gonna be a wide open field of talented fighters
I agree with the bolded part of your statement. I just don't see the up and comers as being viable opponents just yet. To me they are 2-3 years from that with limited rounds and opponents. I believe Wilder is looking to fight Tyson Fury next or the forums are saying so.....LeFtY

Wladimir is king of the most important division in boxing and would beat any American that ever lived.
Well you can't be correct because he lost to Lamon Brewster who was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA> I think that makes him American, am I correct? He also lost too Ross Puritty who was born in Phoenix, Arizona, USA> I think that makes him an American, am I correct?
I can only imagine what a prime Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe or George Foreman would have done to Wlad?? Can you??

Well with the retirement of Vitali now Wlad is alone a top of the garbage heap or is he now with WILDER taking the WBC belt. I wanted to bring this old thread back!!!

I am not in favor of black or white champs I am truly color blind when it comes to my fighters. I just dont see any interesting match ups for either of them that I would want to see. Let me just put it this way....while I appreciate the style of the National League in baseball where the pitchers hit and the bench is used more often I still want to see a bunch of muscle bound Designated hitters slap 30-40 homers a year and drive in 100 RBIS rather then see the pitcher lay down a sacrifice bunt. I know you are scratching your head but it makes sense no?? I rather see a one punch KO from a heavy weight then see a systematic plan carried out by a big foot in the ring. .....it is just me........GuNzZ
ignore him hes a troll
So true, good post.
I guess these people are gonna have to continue dealing with it though, this is a sight they are already familiar with.

Burner had did an episode a while back..need to get the show back poppin.good times
No black boxer from western societies is the man to beat. Klits>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>anyone currently. They both are ATG HWs and people can't stomach it so they blame the division. If it's not covered by U.S. or British media, you're basically a bum pretty much.
