yeesh guys ive heard this a thousand times hes had xxx amount of amateur fights it doesnt matter its not the same at all that actually plays somewhat against him in a profesional fight
I don't see Gamboa improving that much he had like 300 amateur fights. He's very good but he gets caught too much while he's trading. I can see Linares winning by k.o. in the mid rds.
Pretty easy pick if you consider the mistakes Gamboa has made so far in his short career and how one of Linares's best attributes is his ability to capitalize on mistakes.
It's too soon for Gamboa right now, Linares is better at the fundamentals at the moment, he's also a very accurate puncher, I'd give Gamboa a much better chance if he can improve his defense.
agreed he needs more profesional fighting experience but i wouldnt count him out on this fight at all id put my vote on gamboa simply for he's speed and he's aggression and the fact that when he gets hit he comes back with a vengeance as a matter of fact id love to see this fight too bad their on different weight classes now but hey weight classes are like socks so who knows.
