His opponent Maxim Vlasov is 13-0 with his last 3 wins by KO.Im sure andrade will still outclass him but damn thats talk about starting fast.
Heres the link http://www.starboxing.com/upcoming.php
holy shit I checked his boxrec earlier but I didnt see that he was 6ft3 damnn thats a lil recless 6.3 jr middleweight 13-0 star boxing got faith in their kid
I guess Andrade wants to eliminate his biggest rival just in the first fight to show him he aint nothing to **** with!!
He couldn't even fight in the amateurs, I can see him getting KO'd in his debut.
he won the national welterweight championship
WTF are you talking about??
As much as you might hate it it's a bad move otherwise you get talented guys with horrible records and no titles like Augustus.
You shouldn't take them along as slow as someone like Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is being taken along. I think Gamboa's management are making mistakes in managing him cause eventually they'll push him to far to the point where his power won't pull him through and he might lose. He should slow down a LITTLE bit not too much but steer him correctly.
speaking of Augustus, any news on him? last I heard he hired Roger Mayweather as his trainer.
good point on Chavez Jr. granted he is still only 22 , but he's gonna be 50-0 before he's faced someone with a pulse.
yeah all these super prospects/young guys
such as Bradley, Berto, Kirkland, Angulo, Gamboa and well Andrade I find more interesting to focus and follow then some of the bigger names.
and I'll agree with you on Gamboa as super talented or not, I think he'll go down within his next 5 fights.
Thats amazing. I am glad the decorated amateurs are coming up fast. I dont like seeing guys who clearly know how to fight, start out fighting cans who are 1-10.

Is he really fighting 6'3" Maxim Vlasov?
Vlasov's been fighting at super middleweight, although his first few fights were at middleweight. Demetrius Andrade is a super welterweight.
