Comparing Kesslers full resume(even if its bigger then pavs), who has the better resume? By-far I'd say Kelly Pavlik's resume looks a hell alot more impressive then Kesslers and Calzaghe has the nerve to say Pavliks a nobody who hasn't beaten nobody and Calzaghe also brings up Kessler like in every interview. Saying Kesslers a better version of Pavlik. How so Calzaghe? How is he better then Pavlik? When Pavliks willing to fight the best, Pavliks resume backs him up and Kesslers doesn't. Pavlik fought zertuche, zuniga, mckart, miranda, and taylor. All those names are more impressive then almost anyone on kesslers resume... Oh kesslers got mundine(this guy got knocked out by sven ottke one of the worst champs in this sport), andrade(limited as hell just has a good chin).
Kessler is looking like a huge joke in this sport, and so is Calzaghe. Calzaghe's resume is alright but he hypes his resume up to ridiculous amount basically trying to make kessler look like ****ing jesus christ. :grumble:
Calzaghe is such a coward that he bad mouths a good professional boxer who hasn't said one bad thing about him except that hes a ****ing liar. Calzaghe is also one of my favorite boxers and it disgusts me how disrespectful of a person he is. He seems like nothing more then a jack ass with great skills in the ring.
:rofl::rofl:
Tua, I thought we were friends??? :sad2:
BTW Nielsen the fat bastard was severely dehydrated in the first Ryan fight would you believe it?
brian nielsen did better against tyson than golota did. :)
****ing dicky ryan!!!!! who was he to mess with perfection?????
he won't.
that's my schtick. :)
i'm thinking...... "The Greatness of Mikkel Kessler...."?
:rofl::rofl:

Please don't make a 'Greatness of danish fighters in 2008-09' thread. Those kinda threads are JINXED!!! :lol1:
he won't.

Yeah Nielsen should have avenged that loss. He avenged the one against Dicky Ryan.
I believe this was after Tyson crushed Golota but tested positive for marijuana.
Tyson was hanging out in DENMARK, IN FRISTOWN CHRISTIANIA....so you can't blame people for thinking that.

are we making a new bears thread today or bumping the jinxed and anti-jinx threads?
Kessler in the past has beaten the people was required to. Just because he's fought two so-so opponents in a row, doesn't mean he will continue to defend against lower quality oppoistion.
He had to beat some guys to be champ.
Just wanted to alert you that I've changed my allegiance from Panama to Denmark. VIVA BRIAN NIELSEN.
brian nielsen is like rocky marciano.
remember when tyson came in fat and people actual thought brian might pull off a tokyo? lol
that's why we differ in opinion. i consider resume as who he fought not who he beat. so i include joe loss in there.
if i thought the same as you Tua i would have given kessler the vote.
Calzaghe is a way better fighter than Taylor.
Oh, I've decided to become the boxing hippie. But I have to start smoking marijuana to make my transformation complete. :)
STADEN, baby!
:lol1:
From where do you know about Christiania????
Name me a fighter on Kessler resume that he beat better than Taylor??
Calzaghe - Hopkins was extremely close, of course a Hopkins hater like you wouldn't understand.
Associated Press, Yahoo, and ESPN scored the bout 114-113 for Hopkins.
resume is who you fought.
not who you beat.

crazy venezuelan!
i have an interesting animal fact for you jreck.
Jermain Taylor former undisputed champ, He reign wasn't exactly a great one but he did hold wins whether they where controversial or not over Hopkins and gave wright a tough fight.
I do agree though, Calzaghe's win was more convincing imo than taylors win.
Had Kessler beat Joe i would of given him the vote but he didn't.
I put resume as who has wins over the better fighters.
I put level of competition as who fought the better fighters.
that's why we differ in opinion. i consider resume as who he fought not who he beat. so i include joe loss in there.
Taylor The former undisputed Champion of the MW
Taylor beat Hopkins 3 years before Calzaghe did and won clearly IMO not controversial at all. He also beat Hopkins younger and better than the version Calzaghe beat and he didn't get knocked down.
Calzaghe win over Hopkins not controversial it easily could have gone Hopkins way or a draw mayve.
Who esle has Kessler beaten. Edison M >> Bumdine
people overrate the quality of 160 fighters over 168 fighters.
168 is a predominantly european division that's why.
the quality of 160 and 168 fighters the last decade or so have been on par with each other. only difference is 160 had americans like hopkins , joppy and holmes and 168 had euros like joe and sven.
hopkins-taylor fights were closer than calzaghe-hopkins.
and who is taylor?
he squeaked out 2 controversial decisions over hopkins. wow.
calzaghe's win over bernard was more convincing and joe doesn't even get credit for that.
pavlik's resume and kessler's resume is on par with each other. pavlik just gets the edge because he's undefeated.

Pavlik had thus far more chances to compile a better resume.
It seems like the Calzaghe loss is haunting Kessler but he still has many years left to prove his merit
Pavlik's promoters have matched him briliantly thus far, while Kessler's team has made some strange choices to date.
Hey jreck what's with that sig??????????????????
Kessler was the one with the broken hand.
Have you ever seen Calzaghes hands? His hands are always broken!!! HAHAHAHA. You think he punches the way he does for the hell of it??? Sorry, nope he does it because his hands have so much wear and tear, and if calz was a younger version of himself. Your boy Kessler would have ktf out that night
Pavlik has the better resume right now IMO, his wins over Taylor are better than any of Kessler's wins although Kessler did fight Calzaghe and won a few rounds in a good performance.
Pavlik's resume is better because of his wins over Taylor.

Calzaghe hurt Kessler with a punch to the body and kessler was about peal over and die... LoL, damn I wonder if Pavlik lands a body shit if Kessler would crap himself. We all know that Calzaghes hands are broken.
