come on man ... lets have an intelligent conversation ... i personally thought hopkins beat calazaghe (u could arguably say he lost) just depends on how you scored the fight ... Hopkins definitely will not throw enough punches to beat pavlik. .. i still have time to pull out of this bet ... but i mean ...does hopkins HONESTLY think he can beat Pavlik or is this like a retirement 401K plan...
thoughts ?
Seriously T-97? I had Ricky getting schooled and losing by decision...
Nah, not really. I was rooting for Ricky but I knew all along he was going to lose tbh.
Hmmm. This post tells me that you have spent more time :wank: than reading.
Indeed. Martin Lawrence once told me, "It's my shit!" - "I can beat me shit!"
Listen laddy. I can tell you are joking. I have read more books than you have eaten peas.
I have spent more time watching TV than you have spent reading. I have also spent more time sleeping than you have spent reading, so I win.
And this was a post by a more realistic american although his avatar leads the eye to expect a delusional yank trying to get out.
I bet my car on Hatton beating Mayweather, how would you asses that Mr Freud?
Pavlik will win this fight purely on pressure, as T-97 said.
I agree completely but with the power coming into play as well. JC used the same gameplan on Hop that Pav uses on everyone and judging from his comments, he doesn't plan on changing. I think Hop also learned from the JC fight that he cannot afford, given his age, to take it late and rely on the cards. IF, and I say IF, he gets into a slugfest late by feeling he is behind on the cards, this is where you could see the first stoppage of Bernard Hopkins. Aside from that, look for "dirty" fighting, holding, and counter punching all night. Pav still wins by UD.
B hop's workrate and stsmina in the later rounds will let him down In this fight imo, unless he manages to KO pavlik.
why not put less than $200 on the fight and put on say $50 instead.
Here you are.(you also get a great analysis of the Calzaghe-Hopkins fight free with that)

Damn!.Well. ******** is e a s t s i d e without the spaces.
Hopkins has the tools to win, but at his age I am not sure wether he has the stamine. using angles is the way to beat Pavlik imo, and Hopkins uses them to great effect and his counter punching will limit Kellys workrate somewhat. However, Pavlik is strong (Although, moving up in weight, which means Hopkins might be stronger..) and has heavy hands, and very good stamina. I think Kelly will just push Hopkins too hard in the first 6 rounds, and outwork him later on to win.
I really hope I am wrong though..
