P.S. just watched the video kessler still has that awesome power and precision. i remeber watching in the fight vs JC and in the first few rounds i was amazed by skills. id heard he was strong but he had prescion, accuracy, speed and could throw different punches as well, in fact half way through i had become a kessler fan!! by the way whos roos thompson?!? i think calzaghe won the fight with mikkel because he took away his jab, he did it with better movement an awakward southpaw stance and like someone said earlier with good body shots in the middler rounds. once kessler had to start coming forward joe was comfortable playing the role of counter puncher. anyway if mikkel can be hurt by joes body punches what will pavlik, taylor, dawson, bute do to kessler. you could argue that joes a better fighter than those iv mentioned in terms of stance, technique and better boxing skills but if powder puff puncher like calzaghe can hurt kessler by going to the body what will happen when a tougher puncher comes along. anyways i really like kessler just hop he gets his ass over to the US against some big names and shows what hes really ll about. ________ Mercedes-Benz 600 History

Jan i know your close with Team Kessler. He looks vicious and ferocious in those sparring videos, no doubt about it. Can you tell him one thing though! When hes thinking about throwing punches, his forearms and hands go flabby. Making it harder for him and slower, to throw combinations from his position. If he maintained solid hands, and didn't relaxe them, he wouldn't have any flaws. Just to clarify - i have nothing to do with Team Kessler - just a fan. Good advises though. :boxing:

True, but Kess isnt so much my boy, as i think Cal gets overrated by his fans and underrated by haters, more so the former. On the other hand I think Taylor and kesslers is a close fight, pick'em. Kessler vs Pavlik= Kessler TKO/ud The reason being: i think Taylor is better than Pavlik(Pavlik just had his number) and I think Kessler would take Pavlik to school.

I even got the feeling that Kess wasnt throwing and backing up during the middle rounds, because he was afraid to make his hands worse. Kessler is a good fighter but his resume looks like a joke compared to Calzaghes, Calzaghes experience showed up and his intelligence.

Kessler has always have an unbelieveable fast hard ass jab, thats why some people who were kesslers fans felt he could have beaten Calzaghe. But what shocked alot of people but not me because I felt Calzaghe was going to show the world that he can throw good jabs aswell. Calzaghe used Kesslers best weapon against him, and thats his jab. Calzaghe usually fight close up, but he used the jab pretty effectively in the kessler fight. Calzaghe throwing his jabs and his straight left to conquer the viking warrior. Looks very good! I think it's the right type of sparringpartner for Danilo Hausler, he might be even better. We'll see. No matter what Kessler should own his ass!
