Miranda has a lot of KO's left in him. He just needs to be matched carefully until big paydays come around.
yeah I agree with that, a bit late now, but IMO I saw the Abraham rematch as a very dumb fight for Miranda to take. sure it was a network fight, and a rematch, but still, why not establish himself better at Super Middle before taking on Abraham at a catch weight?
He was never good, that's it. His chin declined, but that's normal after these fights.
I don't even know if his chin really declined. I don't believe he'd ever caught flush shot from punchers like Abraham and Pavlik before.
I agree that he was never anything special to begin with, though. Puncher who let his hands go and carried a certain amount of intimidation with him, that's it, really.
You don't grow up eating out of garbage cans in Colombia to give up or bow out like some punk. He'll be back. Obviously, the ass-kickings he received from Pavlik and Abraham, had to give his training team notice of what needs to be corrected. That said, the career of a puncher is never a long one, unless, they learn to box and defend saving their bombs for the right time.
I'm positive that Spanish speaking Afro-Colombian will be back with a vengeance.
i do not think he is shot, but he will likely never have the same confidence which is a bad thing for him. it will be hard for him to come back from two brutal kos like that.
what do you think? after his to brutal ko's from Pavlik, and Abraham. did they permantetly damage him?
First fight with AA REALLY HURT Miranda (his confidence, and mental stability).............Then Pavlik HURT him worst.......................FINALLY second time around AA KILLED him.
IMO after Pavlik and AA, Miranda is done. Sorry just my opinion
