Flawless, you need to settle down. You're in my sig.
Anyone with a bit of speed and technique will pick Williams apart . . . . even at welterweight.
At middleweight he is a good journeyman.
Well Kessler cried LIVE on PPV about being hurt with a body shot from Mr Glass hands himself Joe Calzaghe. His heart will not carry him long enough to stand toe to toe with Pav. The style match up would be awesome to see but Pav would stop him middle to late rounds once Kessler relies Pav has heart and will take EVERY punch he has to offer. Kessler is a good fighter, nothing great and Pav would really expose his weak heart.
Somewhere Joe Calzaghe is hoping Kessler will not fight AA, PAV or Dawson......
I voted Pavlik by decision.
I can't believe the number of votes for Pavlik by KO, considering Kessler's never been stopped. Also, judging from Pavlik's second fight with Taylor, his power doesn't seem to be as decisive at higher weights. You can't tell me with any certainty that Pavlik would hit harder at 168 than any of the SMWs on Kessler's resume.
I think the fight would look a lot like the second Taylor fight, with Pavlik eeking out a decision by coming forward and throwing a lot of punches, overwhelming the more calculating Mikkel.
Maybe there are just a bunch of people who go around, automatically voting "Pavlik by KO" in every poll.
Perhaps it will be Pavlik who'll be forced to work from the back foot. Kessler has great footwork. Much better than Pavlik. I think Kessler will put pressure on Kelly to see how he responds.
I don't think so, Kessler stands his ground and occasionally pushes his opponents back with his jab but most of the time he's content to plant his feet, stand his ground and then start unloading his jab. You're right though, Kessler has good footwork, he knows how to move side to side away from the ropes when a guy comes forward and pressures him, it would be interesting to see how he does against Pavlik's pressure though.
well, I almost feel bad saying it, but I think Pavlik by KO/TKO. not that Pavlik is that much better than Kessler or anything...but I dont think Kessler can handle damage well, physically and mentally. Ive seen him get hurt by shots that really shouldnt have hurt him all that much, and he also seems to sort of lose focus more than most fighters when he gets stunned like that. I also sort of question his ability to take body punishment, altho to be honest I dont have much to go by there other than that slap to the ribs by Calzaghe, so I dont really concentrate on that aspect much.
and Pavlik is exactly the wrong fighter to fight when you have those weaknesses.
too e-z, Pavlik whips his ass by KO...kessler suks, never beat a good opponent.
I got a feeling that you've never actually seen Kessler fight. At most I'd say you've seen him fight Joe with a broken hand.
Yeah it is.
I have to press reply loads to get it to reply, i'll delete one of the posts in a min :lol1:

I hope it gets BPP's attention. Site sucks today.
I think Pavlik would knock Kessler out from a body shot, Joe Calzaghe landed a body shot and we all know how broken Calz hands are... And Kessler nearly pissed himself and even admitting he was hurt in the fight in interviews afterwards... He was hurt by a boxer known for broken hands.
:lol1::lol1:
I guess Boxingscene is slow for you today as well........
Yeah it is.

I think Kessler might take it, he is fast and strong. Has pretty good power. I think he is very similar to Pavlik, but techincally better, although I rekon Pavlik hits harder.
Kessler. UD imo.
