Why are people so high on Nate Cambell

What was his excuse for getting KTFO again by Peden? PPL always over look the fact that Nate got KOed in the rematch also I would doubt that he has an excuse. Peden had his number, thats all. That doesn't change the fact that Nate beat a better fighter in Diaz, does it? doesn't change the fact that Nate said he would beat diaz at his own fight and did it, does it? Truth is, I picked Diaz by UD. I thought Nate would be wore down. But he beat the younger, fresher fighter who most thought was the best in the division. The Peden fights cannot change that.

It was a bullshit stoppage on cuts, off-tv in Australia, by a terrible referee who tried 4 times to stop the fight on cuts (from Peden butts) before finally succeeding, and took 2 points from Nate for "low blows" (in Australia, hitting the hometown fighter in the mouth is a low blow). I had the pleasure of speaking with Nate by phone after that fight. His promoter, who posts here under the name "OnePunch", gave a number to another poster who was talking shit on Nate. I called the number and spoke with Terry for 10 minutes or so, and then Nate when he came into the room. The first thing I asked him was "what the hell were you thinking"? He never made one excuse. Said he fucked up and it wouldn't happen again. He also told me to get in touch with him if I made it to his next fight which was at either the Foxwoods or Mohegan sun casino (can't remember) because I lived in Rhode Island at the time. I never made it to that fight, but I have been a fan of his since that day. Cool dude. Excellent fighter. :lol1: Sounds like fun...Thats what I've noticed about Nate and thats why I've grown to like him...He has a sense of humor and more he's of a " People's Champ". He always tells it like it is and doesnt hold anything back...Someone need to tell Nate that he needs to dedicate his next fight TO ALL OF THE HATERS ON BOXING SCENE :lol1: I think that will get him some respect on this board!

He convincingly beat the best lightweight in the world Juan Diaz and is the undisputed Champ. He deserves credit for it. Exactly... He beat the guy who many considered the best. It wasn't no SD where there was legit doubt. It was a beatdown and there was no one disputing who won or who lose. He had a great win vs the guy who many people thought was the MAN in that division.

I agree..We need more champs like that..No doubt about it! To touch up on the Pedan fight...It was more of Nate being a DAMN fool for letting him get a clean, flush shot on him like that...but still..I dont see why that even is being brought up because that was years ago and people do tend to get better as the years go by. So if thats the reason are still not giving him his due, then those so-called fans need to look up the true meaning of being a boxing fan instead of a fan of one fighter. LUCKY win??? Ummm go watch the fight again there was nothing "lucky" about that win. He handed Diazs' ass to him when Diaz was running through EVERYONE. And he beat Diaz at his own game. Campbell will give ANYONE trouble at 135.. He's a big 135lber that can box if he has to and can brawl if he has to. I promise you this homie...You're not going to get a straight up logical answer from that shitbag!
