Predictions for VITALI KLITSCHKO Vs SAM PETER

It's hard to say since Vitali has had such a long layoff and issues with injuries, but I will say Peter has the slight advantage.

It could be 2024 and Vitali could be climbing into the ring with a walker....I'd still pick him to beat Peter early, and in dramatic fashion. He's too just too big and too aggressive for Sammy boy. Only other possible endings would be a DQ for Peter (only remotely possible), or an injury TKO for Klitchko (slightly more possible, but still pretty unlikely, given that he makes it through camp OK).

The poll results are unbelievable. I am a fan, but I didn't think that majority of people will pick a semi-retired fighter to beat somebody who is regarded as one of the heaviest punchers in the division. I keep getting the feeling that Vitali will injure himself again. That's because Peter is a crude, slow fighter that only has power. Vitali has superior skills and an Iron Jaw (never been knocked down), thereby taking away Peter's punchers chance. The only way Peter wins over Vitali is if VK gets injured IMHO.

Age and Ring Rust.. are a concern BUT even a Vitali at 50% is still way too much for Sam Peter.. Plus Vitali has a chin... I give the fight 8 rounds tops.. and will be very surprised if it's competitive..

I got points that say Vitali wins by decision rather than a stoppage if anyone is interested. Peter is tough and will roughing up Vitali enough to survive, but not enough to win himself. Obviously if Vitali lands an absolute flush bomb, then Peter goes down, but I think this one goes to the cards. 10k says Vitali wins by decision, any takers?

At 20/1 it would be a pretty good bet. It think Peter is 1.5/1 underdog. I'd have him closer to maybe 3/1, to 3.5/1 underdog, but yeah, I think the Klitchko hype should drive the odds deeper than they should be. Dunno how dramatic the difference will be, though.

He looked scared at the press conference.

I don't like Peter's chin or size and reach disadvantages, even with the rusty Vitali... Yeah, this'll be an uphill battle for him...pardon the pun. If he's lucky, he'll finish the fight on his feet and lose a lopsided decision. If he's unlucky, Vitali will be feeling his oats, jumps Peter early on and has him crying like a little girl before the 4th.

I think Peter will be training hard for this fight...then come fight night he will be hungry and probably eat a bucket of chicken...I dont see it going past 2 rounds...indigestion Peter...IMO!!

Wow I picked Vitali by Ko, But didn't think the polls would be so heavily in favor of Vitali. Peter does have a shot for sure. Vitali hasn't fought in like 4yaears . This is no walk in the park for him.
