Ricky only did it because Tszyu tried it a few times prior to that. Funny that people choose to forget about that. That is quite funny. Also amusing how Hatton was the only one rough housing....

I had heard he was accused of it and even did it, but of course in this forum two wrongs make a right when it's about a fighter you like. Does Tszyu have a reputation for pulling that crap? If he did try it, shame on him. I expect if he did, it's somewhat mitigated by hatton's bullcrap tactics and dirty fighting. Wasn't saying Ricky was right in doing what he did. He was wrong. I just think its stupid for the TS to call Ricky an asshole for doing something that his opponent had been doing to him prior to that on numerous occasions.

Watching the Tszyu fight, and that intentional lowblow was one of the biggest asshole moves in recent memory. Hatton fans will say Tszyu was retaliating, i think they forget that, that was Tszyu retaliating because of all the illegal stuff Hatton was already getting away with.

Definitely intentional. Tszyu has hinted that it changed the complexion of the fight. true . . . i hated cotto for awhile after the judah fight for his blatant low blows. i still think the end result would have been the same so there was no need for cotto to be dirty like that. a lot of people say hattons an exciting come forward action fighter, i just think hes a dirty fighter with no chin and i dont enjoy watching his choppy, constantly grabbing, holding and clinching wrestling style.
