I mean it seems like we get ppv's left and right. I mean even Shannon Briggs got a ppv.
I would of watched the Casa/Marquez fight on the big screen, but i just have trouble actually paying for that type of fight.
Anyway, what fights since lets say 2000 or so actually deserved to be ppv?
i find that at least 50% of them are worth it . . . but they're going to force us to pay we should have a better lineup of undercards . . . so i would feel more justified on the money i just spent.
Here are some PPVs in this decade that were PPV worthy, and lived up to expectations and were more or less worth the money.
Trinidad-Vargas
De La Hoya-Vargas
Barrera-Morales 3
Pacquiao-Morales 1-2
Pacquiao-Marquez 2
Barrera-Marquez
Margarito-Cotto
The best "bang for your buck" PPV ever was Robert Quiroga-Kid Akeem Anifowoshe in 1991. That was $10, and a brutal exciting fight.
