thats CRAZY how he fluctuates like that.....either he really goes all out on food and alcohol when not training or he has some of the worst genes
what might be even crazier is how he sheds all that weight before a fight.......you'd never know he gets that fat before a fight.
when he retires he probably will look like Ricky Fatton

Hatton normally balloons much more then this between fights! He doesn't look in such bad shape as you guys make out, he will be in great shape come fight time.
This is pretty much the reason I see Paulie having a good shot in this fight.
For months on end, Paulie is sleeping, Hatton is at the pub eating fried red meat and drinking beer. Paulie is in the gym working his ass off, Ricky is sleeping off a hangover.
It just adds up, how well you prepare for a fight, including how much time you put into it.
Also Paulie is a hungry fighter, Ricky is thinking about big money and retirement.
What trips me out is imagine Hatton not fighting anymore
Can you imagine just how fat he would allow himself to go
There he is .....................
I think a fight against Pacquiao would be good for him. I'm not sure how much sense it makes if Pacquiao somehow beats De La Hoya though. If he loses, which is the likely outcome, it would make sense though.
Even if Pacquiao beats De La Hoya it's till a testament to Pacquiao. Hatton would beat most if not all the 135 pounders because of his size and strength. It's a good name to have on his resume if he wins though. Then Pacquiao can move down to 135 and take on the king at 135 (it should have sorted itself out by then)
They don't call him Ricky Fatton for nothing:lol1: I'd expect him to be in better shape at this point though. His lifestyle is slowly catching up with him and I don't think he'll be around for much longer...
If Hatton wins this fight he should go after one more fight perhaps with Pacquiao for big money then retire his physical skills have definatly eroded to the point that if he keeps ballooning up in weight between each fight then he'll erode all his gifts away.
he never fails to be in terrific shape though!!!!
the mayweather and lazcano fights were the best i have ever seen hatton(body wise)
although he usally does a 12 week training camp...now he is doing an 8 week camp???
but im sure he will be fine...
Lol, I think he looks quite good compared to how he normally looks between fights.
There's still almost 2 months to go though, he'll be on weight just fine i reckon.
He looks like shit. He always blows up like that though. I thought I read somewhere that he was gonna quit that shit, unless he was just referring to if he got a Floyd rematch.
