and JMM will lose again and all his fanboys will cry once again
PersonLLY I think he rather face oscar now then jmm not just because of the money but 4 god sake he told jmm he won the fight before the third judges scorecard was read....If he loses to oscar at least he get's his money
That's a new one. Never heard that before.
Pacquiao is not ducking anyone.. How can you duck a Lightweight for fighting a Welterweight? Pac will beat the sh!t out of every LW out there.
Fighting a 5'10 Giant, a middleweight frame is a big risk.. This could be a decisive fight for Pacquiao career wise and healthwise..
If Pacquiao wins this one, can you just imagine how the world wants a shot at him.
Pac-Margarito 09'! You heard it here first!

I never said PAC was beyond criticism.... But, to literally say PAC is "INTENTIONALLY DUCKING" lightweights is ridiculous and you know it... Every fighter (99%) is in the game for money, thats not even debatable... And, if someone waves a 20 million dollar steak in front of you, how many fighters are gonna say no??? Shit, I'd bet anything you'd probably smack your momma for a cool million, now times that by 20.....
As for your theory, it holds no water, because a fight with DLH (at 35) is still a bigger "step up" than a fight with either Valero, Guzman, Cambell, Casa, or Soto.... Anyone unbiased would clearly see that...
Lets make a bet......Make a poll, if any one of those fighters at lightweight is considered more of a "step up" than DLH then I will leave this site for good.... If I win, then I get your account... What say you????
Of course boxing is driven by money just like any other sport but there's usually some logic behind the matchups. This absurd matchup is all about the money and nothing more. It's a circus sideshow which pits size vs age with DLH unfairly having the clear advantage over the number one ranked fighter who should be fighting lightweights.
I swear you Mexicans kill me with your logic... Masking your hate with idiotic justifications is predictable and very transparent....Why not just say you dont like the guy and leave it at that...
I'm not masking hate or anything else. I have plenty of respect for pac's talent because he always puts on great fights but that doesnt mean he should be above criticism. Pac had the opportunity to discuss a deal with Campbell after he demolished Diaz but Pac wasnt looking for him. If I hated Pac as you suggested, I'd be rooting for the ridiculous matchup against DLH which serves no other purpose than lining their pockets, but I'd rather see him at his best against a lightweight or at least have Soto or Valero step up.
Well, Pac chooses his fights carefully and he seems to be avoiding the top lightweights for the time being so I'm sure he'd be more than happy to allow Marquez to clean out the division and then face him rather than assume the risk of doing it himself.
Everybody in the lightweight division got themselves booked and you say Pac is avoiding?

IMO De La Hoya is a bigger risk than anyone at lightweight right now. Diaz was testing the waters at 135 and he was still a decent titlest (beat Santa Cruz who should have beaten Casa)
It's not taking a risk in terms of legacy because losing to DLH wont diminish it but losing to Campbell, Joan, or Casamayor certainly would.
legacy wise your right, but pac going up to 147 after only 1 fight at 135 is taking a risk and even haters cant deny that.
so fighting a bigger opponent in delahomo is not taking a risk huh?! LMAO!!!
