My opinions CONFIRMED, Team Pavlik SCARED!!!!

When I started this thread saying Pavliks ppl are SCARED of AA............. http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196972&page=10 ALL you were talking shit. LOL Now its confirmed, by someone closer to them than we are! Dan Rafael ESPN: I think that if Pavlik wins and Abraham wins, a fight between them is not going to happen in early 2009, even though Pavlik promoter Bob Arum has talked about that as a possibility. Arum is a smart guy. So is Pavlik's manager, Cameron Dunkin. They know it's a very dangerous fight. I think that if they're going to take the risk and seriously consider Abraham, it's going to have to make a lot more economic sense than it does now.

i like AA but his style plays into the hands of a power/volume puncher. if he doesn't present a moving target to pavlik he will be able to load up on every punch i dont know if anyone could handle being hit like that for an entire fight. I disagree. AA head movement and footwork is FAR superior to Pavliks IMO. Power wise I have them even, and Defence/Footwork goes to AA, but the intangable in this fight will be WORKRATE and in that department Pav blows AA out of the water. That is AA ONLY weakness, workrate.

Even at Calzaghes older age, he is the bigger threat then Abrahams. Yet, Pavlik is chasing the harder fight against Calzaghe. Scared of Abrahams oh please... Calzaghe is even the favorite in like all his fights to outbox his opponents, except in the lacy fight since people overrated lacy.

ok everything you said was correct, UNTIL your last sentence. Pavlik is HUGE in the US and AA is the biggest boxing star in Germany! WTF are you saying 1: Well I guarantee you Arum will not allow Pavlik to fight in Germany. 2: Pavlik nor Abraham are huge stars in the US. Pavlik is still just getting his feet wet. The reason they are getting him to fight the Hopkin's and Calzaghe's is to build off their own names and popularity. Pavlik is big on boxing forums, but people outside of Boxing Forums or Ohio don't know who he is.

while it isnt exactly confirmed... i believe this is the first media step Arum and Dunkin Donuts are taking to stray away from a possible Abraham vs. Pavlik showdown.... would be one of the saddest NO-GO's if this fight does not materialize. we fans will be the only losers. exactly what I'm sayin! Well said. and BTW I respect Dan alot and all I saying is while doing his job he MUST HAVE sensed something from those two retards to actually write that in his blog, he must have.

I never insulted you. Well, I guess that picture I posted was a bit obnoxious.:D Dude, I like AA and Abraham vs. Pavlik is one of the fights I look forward to most for next year. I just think you are jumping to conclusions. There haven't really been any talks of the two fighting yet officially. I have never disrespected Armenians or Armenian fighters except Felix Strum because he actually IS afraid to fight Abraham. You could be right about Fuckhead Arum not wanting the fight but I really think Kelly will fight him next year as long as Abraham and Pavlik win their up coming fights. That fools Armenian?
