- Most British fans knew he wasn't a brilliant boxer who's ready for the big time yet. It's just the media hype.
- It's alot harder turning pro after doing well in the olympics, everyone follows you right from the start (whereas alot of boxers start getting noticed after 20 or so fights) and all the arm-chair fans expect him to be a world beater right away
- He's cocky? Most boxers are cocky, damn i bet 99/100 people on here would be cocky if they won an olympic medal + beat 18 other guys. It's called promoting a fight.
- Despite being British i didn't mind Amir losing, but that's not because i dislike him. Just because i love how Warrens biggest cash cow is now Audley Harrison and also how can they justify sticking it on sky box office.
Post me a link where he shoot his mouth off, Then tell me if you around or knew anything about Benn,Eubank,Hatton or calzaghe at age 21, The facts are the boy is still 21 nobody can predict what would happen with him in the future, He won an olympic medal at 17 which brought all the million of pounds he had and the hype and expectation.
We are not casual fans mate we are actual boxing fan who knows the in and out of boxing so dont come sound like a fan who only started following boxing 2 years ago.
Started following boxing 2 years ago...good one. I dont have to post you a link pal just check out his last few fights after one of them (at least) in the post fight interveiw he said he was ready for the worlds best, Warren had to actually jump in and reign him in. You sayin Khan should have another 4 year apprentiship fighting medeocre opponents? Most world champs fought for thier first title in thier 20th-something-odd fight, so Khans nearly there.
And Benn, Eubank, Hatton, Calzaghe were not shooting there mouths off saying they were the best in the world at 21 either, he is an olympian who as you said has 18 fights and four years under his belt its time he started making an impact on the world scene, if you have what it takes then 21 dont matter Mayweather was world champ less than 2 years after turning pro. Benn had a loss early in his career and came back but Khan hasnt got what all the above fighters have, that pro style, even when he beat St Claire over 10 rounds it was just a very amateur performance. I give him credit for coming back v Limmond but he just lacks that grit

It`s not hating, it`s genuine frustration of the wise boxing fan who kept telling the gullible boxing fan not to believe the hype about glass jaw, it`s you guy`s who have made glass jaw a very rich man. suckers.
People dont realise hes 21! Hes still a kid, hes gettin hit by a man.. I think his chin will improve when hes older.

The big difference is that Pac was still hungry and determined enough to rebound from those loses. He wasn't earning millions and endorsing Nike when he lost those 2 fights. He wasn't certainly being hyped up as the next great fighter during that time..
Nor did he win an olympic medal, Had the hope of a nation on his shoulders and had to fight under scrutiny for his first fight.
im not sure where khan can go from here now? he know he cannot fight the top lightweights because he will get KTFO,and he definetly cannot go up to LW because they puinch even harder!!
he will just remain fighting nobodys while everyone slowley gets bored of him!!!
he is baseically a laughing stock now!
p.s. imagin if he fought ricky hatton!!!! LMAO he would of got killed!!!!

Could not have worded it better myself
Also look at Pacquio's record, he got ko'd early on and came back from it. He didn't have many names on his resume either.
