Is Katsidis the new Gatti

Maybe the trainer is just trying to preserve Katsidis's health rather than win the fight.

It'd be nice if Kat's trainer showed more of a sense of urgency. That's what i'm saying he sux, he's not giving good advice and he's trying too hard to keep Katsidis calm

Gatti was a decent boxer, better than Katsidis but was easy to suck into a war. Katsidis is the new Gatti though. Gatti would start out boxing, get nailed and just brawl. Katsidis is the same. Apart form the bit about boxing. True true......

lol i was thinking more of ward lol no kidding... maybe that's a better comparison... but is it me or Katsidis' trainer sucks but as far as the name recongnition and everything i'm thinking more gatti all he needs is a decent win over a fringe contender

Not really. Gatti had better boxing skills and athleticism. He also won more significant fights. We'll see, maybe Katsidis can pull this off or some other wins in the future. exactly so that will be a micky ward
